I just got a 2in1 today but the Clark headscuplt is damaged and has glue on the face so I need to replace that, his glasses are also broken.

The question I have is which body does this Superman suit better as I would like to upgrade him from the standard body he comes with.

I'm doing a custom Justice Lords Superman in the CR style for my Brother's birthday(He has 3 detolfs FULL of Superman toys...), and i am using the TTM-19 male torso. I know it's not as bulky as the Reeve torso, but i think it looks okay.
I just wanted to give him something a bit unique that no-one else would have.
I know it's not that elegant, but i am not that great with sewing, lol...
And the boots are placeholders. I have a set of black ones on the way.

Out of all the figures HT has put out that has to be the worst of the bunch In My Opinion. I can't explain why, Maybe it's how his head sits in the neck or something, But I've never liked the Superman Returns figure. And it's not just the Hot Toys figure. Medicom's ain't any better.

I thought the movie was OK, Not great, Just OK. And I thought the suit in the movie was OK as well. I just can't get into the action figure's for it though.

Thanks. If i could have just got a better cloth i think for the cape it would have been better. It's a wedding dress material. Cost me £20/$30 per metre...

Yeah. It's a shame the headsculpts weren't better.
It seems that Routh's likeness was tough to capture.
I went to Tussauds in NY in 2007 and they had the "routh" Superman and it looked very little like him in my opinion...

Yes. That is actually my Hot Toys Superman Returns 2 in 1 on a Reeve body. The standard body he comes with in scrawny and short. This was MMS50 so it was very early in the HT releases. The previous one was similar but this one is much better in my opinion. The detail on the suit and shape OFTHE shorts is more accurate.

I've seen a few upgrades to this figure and I think this is more proportionate. Although a Thor body might be decent too.

I understand in the pics you can see his head seems oversized.
I see that too in the pics. The bizarres things is that in my hands the head looks fine.
As I say, I am doing this as a custom for my brother.
it actually looks fine in person, but I suppose the camera never lies.

Watched this movie again and thought how awesome it would be if HT did a 2.0 version or re-release with updated body, head, and paint apps.

yea Routh had some thunder thighs so it was good to use them on him. I have mine on a TTA with thigh enhancers. definitely prefer it over the the old skinn standard TT

That looks great bro. Nice work.

I had to do a height mod on mine cause it was driving me nuts. He is way too short. I put it on a Superman Reeve body. It may not be perfect but I'm happy with it.

This is the original body with longer foot pegs. He is the right height but too skinny and out of proportion.

This was before my body swap but you can see how weak he looks compared to the swap.
