Ah, sorry about that. My price has been less great previously. Thought I could get away with a higher price since I couldn't find the figure for sale on ebay at all...however it doesn't appear to be much in demand at SSF so I've had to lower it a few times. I don't sell on ebay so haven't considered that an option.

I think the red trunks on the new suit got stuffed down Supes pants. BTW was/is there any likeness in the comics to the new suit? It really needs to be broken up a bit, too much blue.....dark blue.

if you're asking whether or not their is a suit that looks similar to this new one then yes. The New 52 Superman suit is similar but it has a red belt instead of whatever is going on in the mid section of the new movie suit

If it is still available in a few weeks, I'll probably get yours.

Me again, with more HT Superman Returns questions. Does anyone know if all 4 Superman Returns releases came with numbered certificates of authentisity? Does anyone know the quantity of each?

I think only the first 2 came with the COA, that is V1 Superman and Clark Kent. My 2-in-1 Superman didn't come with a COA and I don't think Jor-El came with one either

Yeah. Not sure either. Both mine were used so I it could have had one but may have been lost.

I'm thinking about switching the body out again, right now I have him on a TTA but I might go with the new TTM or CR body. Any thoughts?

Here are a few shots of mine if that helps your decision.

The first pic is the original body with some modified longer foot pegs. I just made him taller, 12 5/8, so he would reflect the 6'4" tall superman.

It looks ok but with new height it really makes him look too skinny.

The second pic is on a CR body. Much better proportions and he has a naturally taller physique. Now he stands 12 5/8 inches but looks more natural.

Yes thank you that helps a lot, no real issues with the fit of the uniform? It looks a bit odd around the waist area. Thanks again for the intel.

No issues with the fit. Good thing it's spandex or whatever 4 way stretch material they use.

The reason it looks odd is because of the way the pelvis is made on the body. It's a lot taller than the regular TT pelvis.

My guess is to compensate for the taller whitie tightie shorts the CR supes has. SR shorts were more like bikini briefs than the WT.

That lip you see bulging out right before it goes into the shorts is the top of the pelvic piece. Small price to pay for a beefed up SR fig.

I guess you could always modify the body to make that look more streamlined.

Looks better than the original paint aps but he still looks a bit lifeless. Maybe it's the eyes. I wish I knew how hot toys achieves their realistic skin tone paint. I wish there were a class or tutorial of some kind.

The influx of all the new realistically painted faced figures to my collection is making all my old ones look dated and dead.

I know what you mean. It's difficult to achieve Hot Toys' level of realism.

I'm thinking about making water slide decals for his eyes. As for the skin tone, I think a lot of the lifelessness is in the smoothness of the sculpt. A year or two after HT produced that head, they were able to reproduce skin texture. Now they have it down to a science.

It's too bad there isn't more demand for a better, more lifelike Brandon Routh head.

I just switched mine to the new TTM. I think it works pretty well, the neck is a bit long and the skin tone is off but I can fix that when I get more time. He looks like Superboy next to CR Supes.

Wow that looks great man. I like the muscle tone on the arms and legs especially. Looks more like a bad ass now than a super wimp.

I'd love to see a height comparison shot of my SR next to CR Supes like this. Some really bad photochopping.
