I love it, though I am considering adding some texture to the "bulletholes" on the chassis (except for the destroyed gun arm, all the battle damage is done through paint applications). I'll probably add a regular ED-209 (or two... ED-209s make good "generic" baddies for superheroes or futuristic soldiers in my book) to my collection down the road, but I'm really pleased with the battle damaged version thus far.

At first I thought someone had dug up the old thread only to see somebody started a new one. Dave should delete this one. We already have an official ED-209 thread. Use the Search button. Thank you.

You don't, however, have a BATTLE DAMAGED ED-209 Image thread. Read more carefully before you respond. Thank you.

(I realize there's something to be said for ridiculously long mega-threads, but it seems pretty normal for distinct, newly released products to get their own separate image threads as well, especially when the thread on the NON-BATTLE DAMAGED version has received no responses for two and a half months. Popping it back up seems like thread necromancy)

Please forgive the lame backdrop; I'm in kind of a hurry tonight and this thing is BIG, so it will take a bit of effort to clear out a space with an interesting backdrop to photograph it....

Kind of a bummer that HT went the rout of just painting on battle damage.

I would have that they would have gone a bit further with it.

Oh well, it still looks cool.

Yeah, though the smashed arm alone is worth it to me. I'm sure that it was cost progibitive to retool all the other parts for the relatively small edition size of this piece.

No reason why these can't be posted in the Official ED209 thread unless of course Dave would like to, ahem, make that new forum.

not much has been said about this one...do people like it that have it? worth paying $100 for?

thanks for your thoughts. if he available in the morning i might bite. i like the first ED more but for $100, tough choice.

Is anyone here looking for the original version?
My friend has one for sale.

If interested, just PM me. ;)
