And I'm sorry but that hovering hairpiece looks bad.

It's a bit big for the FoF head sculpts, not as nice a fit as I thought.

did you take the inner piece out of both FOF/WOTD and swap them
i put the FOF in the WOTD hair (thanks to axe)fits better but not a perfect fit..tried both custom and original FOF heads..no difference

Yeah I took the inner thingys out of the hairpieces. I put the FoF one in the WotD hairpiece, but chucked the WotD inner thingy in the bin because I "bent it silly ( )".

So long as you're happy then that's fine. Speaking of hair, I still don't have my ETD hair yet!

removed inner piece,and just used the hair only..fits a lot smoother

I modded mine and it fit pretty perfectly, no gaps... check the pics which give the hair from a side profile... you'l there is NO gap

ALSO I should have added... just sand down a bit from the inner side of the hairpiece near the ears... its the earlobes that pushes the haipiece up even after the FoF internal magnet mod

you must remodel the inner piece with a cutter knife not only swap..
it will fit better...

No matter how much you cut the inside, the hairpiece will always be a fraction too wide for the FoF head sculpts. Looks good in pics, but a bit noticeable in person.

I like the sunlight pic of BL. But the similar one you have of Blade suits it more

not true Larry. I have several WOTD hair pieces, and apparently SOME are narrower than others, and those smaller ones fit nicely on FOF head sculpt without any gaps. And even if it is a bit too wide, I am sure you can heat'em up with hair dryer and squeeze the sides to make'em narrower.

So some are narrower than others? For some reason I thought they would all be the same. But you are the Yoda of BL customs, so what you say, is what it is.

Also, getting out the hair dryer is where I should draw the line, as far as customs go

That's better, as for my ETD hair it was sent on the 25th and it is now the 5th, I don't think it's overdue yet, it just feels like it.

You learn something new every day. Aside from taking the inner magnet and housing out did you do any other mods to your ETD B hair to get it to fit the DX head?

Yeah, hopefully!

The best thing to do with the hair after you've heated it and got it to the shape you want is to quickly dunk it in cold water. This will set the hair in the position you want.

It's already on Bruce. Apart from a minor gap at one side of the neck it looks really good and I was able to futz it to match his GOD hair really well.

I'm shifting browsers at the moment and may post pics at some stage. TBH it really doesn't look that different to Ahgnus' GOD.
