At the start of the year, if anyone had told me that I'd have a new GOD Bruce and be about to get a boxed HT one.....

It's all thanks to SSF that I can do either!

I know this is a Enterbay/Hot Toy tread - but I did not want to make a tread about these four new figures, so I guess I could compare them to EB and HT and say they do not come close to either one of them... Hehe.. These are schedule to be released in mid/late September (2011) by a company called (?) "Round 5 Versus Series 2" I think... (not done much research on these).

Anways, here they are:

Didn't realize they were getting into Bruce Lee - though it is kind of nice quirky touch to have a UFC Bruce Lee figure.

They are based on the Japanese HAO PRIDE figures that were around in the mid 2000s and were quite well done....to be honest the most impressive thing about the Round5 product is that not one figure really looks anything like the fighter. Its actually fascinating to me, like they go out of their way to make it look as far as possible from the actual guy.

These Bruce Lee ones appear better than most.

I had to do some Kato headsculpt bash. It is truely the best Bruce Lee headsculpt out there so far. At any angle you look at it, it's unmistakeably him. (The one sitting down is FOF calm face/Jet Li body bash.)

I completely agree about the EB Kato being the BEst BL sculpt from EB, however he looks great even in FoF and somewhat in WoTD... for EtD his cheeks were just too sunken in for it to work... also his nose was quite fate in the Kato HS... Hmm now you've made me want to get hold of a Kato head for my WoTD bash...

My fave in these photos is the short hair "The Way of the Dragon" figure with a deadly look - it is spot on !!
