Yeah, it's ridiculous. Other than Hagrid and I think Dumbledoore NONE of the figures cost this much. All the kids in their robes seem to run between 120-150 when they first come out. This is ridiculous for Malfoy unless he's EXTREMELY limited.

Is it the same head as the quidditch one?
It sais "uthentic likeness of Draco Malfoy in the movie "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone"
But the quidditch Draco is from COS isent he?

$238.99? That's not Dumbledore, that's Dumbledore DELUXE. With Fawkes and everything. Hagrid was more, but he required a whole new body.

Yes, the quidditch Draco is from Chamber of Secrets, but this headsculpt looks different to me. The lantern though is definitely a re-release from Hagrid.

This thing may be really limited.

For $240, I'm not surprised it's "Limited". Ridiculous.

I might be in the minority, but if he's truly "limited", I'll pay a premium for him. Maybe if he sells well enough we'll get more HP characters that aren't super popular.

Big Chief Studios has him :)

Thanks! They were very quick off the mark. You're right - $240 has to be wrong, especially with our pound being next to worthless against the dollar. £140 = $180(ish). Ron and Harry were both about that when they first came out.

That's why I ordered him. That's not a bad price to me as I want to complete the year 1 line up, and if he is limited then I am already covered :)
I am a big fan of BCS anyway as they have been very helpful to me so am happy to order with them.

Holding my wallet firm until we get some older school robed versions....or perhaps OOTP or DH street clothes. No interest in the tiny tikes. Hurry up Star Ace.

Isn't that just the quidditch year 2 version?

Yep.

If this is really $240... then **** me, this is ridiculous.

He's a figure on a reused body with a few hands, a broom, a wand, and one light up lamp. And somehow that justifies a $60 jump from Harry and Ron, both of whom had a higher quantity of accessories, and were their first two figures to leave the factory?

That's insane. I don't understand this, honestly. It's absurd.

I'm seriously wondering how limited this could possibly be to justify the price. It's not like it has more accessories. It's not like the robes are upgraded from the other kids (oversized patch and clasps), although I'm glad for consistency's sake.... the lantern is even a re release, and the broom might be one too (Hermione and Ron had different ones).

I'm voting not worth it, but to be fair, I'm not buying any of the children.

If anybody was interested, I know BCS ship internationally too :)

Thanks for the heads up. I'll probably wait and see what SS and BBTS have him offered for. Under $200 would be a pleasant surprise.

I'm hoping they do a bit more work on the head sculpt. It could be a bit more accurate but mostly it bothers me that it's so plastic looking. Looks like it's made out of wax or something.

He looks dead inside. There's something about the kids outside Hermione that is uncanny valley creepy. They lack that oomph of realism that makes them believable.
