They originally had a rooted beard for him too if I remember correctly. I do think that they made the right choice by sculpting the beard for this, though I still have my doubts about mixed media hair in general.
What event are these pics from?
I know this is unrelated to Star Ace's figures, but I couldn't find a better thread for it, and didn't want to start a new one for it: https://www.noblecollection.co.uk/download/file/1247?defaultFile=%2FDefaultImages%2FdefaultImage.png&thumbnail=False&cultureId=127&useLarge=true
I've never heard of this before, and can't seem to find more information about it. Is it a new piece, or an older one? Some websites have it listed for pre-order, I think I've seen some in-hand pictures, and other sites have it for crazy prices. It's on the UK Noble Collection site (I think), but I can't find it on the US one. I was hoping to display it with Star Ace's Triwizard Harry (I guess it's a bit relevant then ), but can't find anything concrete about it.

No, the Magical Creatures line (which I am also super excited about: I've already bought the Ukrainian Ironbelly. ) is different. I think they're smaller, and they have a case around them. Also, I did mention I had seen it on the UK site, but I can't figure out if it's a UK exclusive, or if it will be coming to the US eventually. I also can't tell if it's an older item, or a recent release. I vaguely remember something similar to this being offered from Noble in the past, but I'm probably misremembering.I think it's part of their new magical creatures line.
Anyway, it's here and is at £135.

And yeah Manannin, the idea of displaying it with Triwizard Harry is what first caught my attention!
Ah, sweet then! Thanks so much for the info!Yeah, I know about the ones in glass cases, but they came out a similar time. Anyway, this is new(ish). Came out June this year. Magical creatures was July. I've followed Noble for a few years and they usually have items here then US and vice versa.
I can't believe this sold out before it as even released. https://www.sideshowtoy.com/collect...r-quidditch-version-star-ace-toys-ltd-902589/
...or maybe Sideshow, has a butt-load of these spoken for (promised inventory) and want to drum up sales. Nah, Sideshow would never do THAT!
