I'm sorry, but as I kid I never wanted to play with concept drawings...

No-- you merely stood on the soapbox and pointed out to the other toddlers that their Tonkas were not construction site accurate.

:rotfl

The McQuarrie concept figs are a great move by Hasbro as they're completely aimed at the collectors.

I ordered Vader and the snowtroopers the same day - no word on either shipping.

I didn't get Vader, but I did get Snowtrooper same time, nothing here yet.

Thanks guys, glad to hear I'm not the only one, I can worry less. I checked my order on their website and it states that my order is on "Back Order". Man if they cancel my order because they didn't list the correct number of figures available for sale I'll be pissed.
Hopefully that won't be the case.

I'm backordered also, and the product pages for both figures say Coming Soon again, not sold out, so my guess is our orders should be fulfilled, but inventory can't fill them just yet.

On another note, my Starkiller from SWS arrived today, another fine addition to the concept lineup.

Is anybody trying to get the gold coin versions of these figures? I'm trying to resist the urge.

As for me, since the exclusives (the droids, Deak, Ben and Yoda) are only available in silver... I want them all to match. Is that silly? :monkey3:monkey3:monkey3

The only one I haven't been able to find in the gold coin counterpart is the Stormtrooper, but Chewie has been really easy to find with a gold coin around here, and Fett, I have seen two in the last couple of days. Just need to grab the Trooper.

The gold coin Stormtroopers are the only ones that I've found (and I bought both).:D

Starkiller Hero arrived this past week. An interesting fig (and concept back when the hero was going to be female---)

I'm passing on looking for the gold coins. It reminds me too much of when I used to go nuts looking for variant figures years ago.

I'm not hunting coins either, but since I have the coin album that came with figure 1, I do want to complete that.

I'm completing the coin album as well and while I'm not grabbing every UGH gold coin figure I see I am picking them up if they're the McQuarrie concept UGH figs.

Unfortunately, those are the ones the scalpers go after. I find lots of UGH figures on the pegs, but rarely a McQuarrie UGH... Personally, I'm getting one of each UGH, and I've already found them all.

You are trying to complete the album! Wow... that sure is a whole lotta Hasbro! :google:google:google

So far, with the exception of the Darth's and Pre-Cyborg Grievous, I have every 30th Anniv. figure and all the McQuarrie's from the cons as well, plus the UGH mail away coin set.

And you are still able to keep up with all of the Sideshow offerings? Impressive. :monkey4:monkey4:monkey4

Did you pick up the Concept Grevious? Personally I've been on the fence about it. I wanted to buy all of the Concept figures but I might just limit it to the McQuarrie Concept figures. But that might change. :monkey3:monkey3:monkey3

I'm only 24 and I'm single, so rent and car insurance are all I pay for on top of collectibles, my savings account is low, but i keep up with collecting. I did get the Grievous as well, here are some photos I posted a while back in a thread about him, it's a really nice figure, and I actually like the concept design a bit more than the film one, the figure is certainly better than any film Grievous figures.

Received mine today. All in all, another great concept figure, despite not being a McQuarrie concept. Great ariculation, he's big like McQuarrie Chewie, the cape is nicely done for a Hasbro cloth cape. I actually wouldn't have minded if this was the design in the film, it's pretty nice looking too. Another cool feature is his chest plate comes away to show his inner workings.

Ya know,I am having the hardest time finding a nice UGH McQuarrie Boba Fett.
I was hoping that someone here could help me out,but I do not want to be scalped.:D

That's one nice Grevious there. I might pick up later. For now all of my extra scratch is going to pay for both the Angel and Darkness PFs. And of course let's not forget some impending Christmas gifts. :monkey5:monkey5:monkey5

I wonder if, with all this renewed interest in concept figures, will Hasbro re-issue their Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and Darth Maul concept figures.
