yeah, it looks great, but now that ss has made basically the same one, i'm on the fence as to which one to keep as i have both on order.

Apples and Oranges. The HT one is an action figure and that being said is one of the most impressive 1/6 representations of any character so far. It also will give different posabilities and display options. The SSC one is a maquette which is 1/4 scale, static and a huge consumer of space as the dimensions are fairly large. For a big IM fan like me its no question to have both but for the casual collector you just have see which you want more, size or display options?

If you can call ANY of the HT IM figures "dollies" you need your head examined.

It's like the real thing brought down to 1/6 scale, which is of course is the purpose. And only Hot toys is capable of this representation IMO.

I'm curious as to how well these will do on the secondary market. I wonder if they'll maintain retail or increase. I'd be kinda surprised if they dip too much but you never know.

Right on Mike, yep if this forum had a rep system Mike would all ready get some reps from me brah! Totally not the same fig and I'll be keeping both as I'm building a Iron Man shrine without even thinking about it

Okay, I have closed the other IM discussion thread, I was going to merge the 2 but that would just mess up all the posts and it would not read right.
This one has been running longer and is the 'Official' thread anyways.

So, to try stop confusion I have closed the other one which means all things HT IM Mark 1 can be discussed here.

I also amended a couple of titles to make things more clear.

u closed my thread! boohoooooo...

anyway, as i was saying in that thread, the HT mark 1 has been delayed til may. according to my retailer. he doesn't know exactly when but he's pretty sure it's not gonna be in april. so my guess is u folks in the usa will be getting it prob june onwards...
