I got mine today and nearly blinded myself from the chest light!

I got the batteries in and was holding it facing me, pressed the button and burned my corneas. It was almost like staring into the sun. I still see spots when I blink.

This guy is awesome though and I love all the wires and details put into it.

Only negative is that the ankles are a little weaker than I would like.

Just got mine today too. I have a couple questions if anyone can be of assistance.

How does the helmet go on? I can click it in to stay in the upright position but I can't seem to get a grip on how to attach it in the closed position.

Regarding the batteries. Is it supposed to be tough to unscrew the bottom of the gas canister? I don't want to break anything.

For the helmet, I put the face plate at a 90 degree angle to the helmet and gently pushed it into place.

For the batteries, you only have to slightly twist the bottom of the canister about 1/4 turn and it will slide out for access to the batteries.

Thanks. I hadn't noticed the tiny little pegs/holes in the helmet that I needed to align. I'll give the batteries a shot now.

He's pretty damn awesome. Pics do not do it justice. In some of the pics there's black fabric on the inside of the mask to emulate an empty suit. The face does kinda suck, but whatevs, not anything I'll ever display.

Simply the best in-hand photos of the Mark I I've seen yet. You've captured the details perfectly. Excellent work!

I'll be damned if this doesn't win figure of the year. Truly a work of 1/6 art.
