Yeah they should be able to afford it but i'd assume companies like HT's have a set margin they'd like to achieve when producing every piece. I just get the impression Arnold's likeness is one of the hardest to aquire.

Edit: I forgot that Arnold's likeness comes with the T2 license. SO WHAT THE F IS THE WAIT HT'S???

It won't end up looking like their previous T1 fig, cause with all the technologies they have now that figure would be amazing.

I'm thinking, rubber body (ala dutch) with exposed arms (ala marcus), two heads; clean and battle damaged (ala marcus), and 2 exchangable jacket, canvas with studs and biker leather (ala MJ thriller). Fan boys will prolly get 3 or 4 of those!

He was joking about a way to sell an updated T1 figure without calling it that so they could get past licensing issues and joking that if you leave out the glasses it would help their case.

In HT's eyes that'd be too much for the collector. What they'd do is split that great idea into 2 different figures. Still i'd be one of those fanboys that'd buy 3 or 4

I bet T2 MMS is just around the corner. Its obvious, as long as people keep on buying all the T600 variants. Just look at the predator. After they saw how people eat up all those avp variants, they gave us P1 as a sign of gratitude, without ^^^^ing us in the back with a BD version

Yet. Personally, I'm hoping for a second version without the shoulder cannon and medkit. With it could be a skinned Jim Hopper.

TS Arnold would be great, naked or not cause it would double for a T1 arrival Arnold. If anybody were willing to do a naked man with all his parts, it's Hot Toys. No pun intended, but I hope they have the balls to do it. Yeah, it's a naked guy, but it's also a completely accurate cyborg Terminator. Not that I want to look at 1/6 male junk, but I'd be dissapointed if the did a Ken doll bulge on him.

Well even Terminators may not have full proper anatomy, unless they're going to shack up with some ladies, who'd know what is or isn't in their pants

Ken Doll is fine for me and better, I don't want accurracy, I couldn't enjoy the figure that way, Ken doll lets you ignore that region and just take in the badass naked killing machine

As for T2, I'm sure it's coming, but they'll tap into T:S while it's fresh on people's minds, and anyone willing to buy T2 products would buy it just the same be it today or 6 months from now. Hopefully they understand that the T2 license covers Arnie's portrait and don't shy away thinking they'd have another Dutch on their hands, and hopefully for some weird reason, Sideshow doesn't still have 1/6 license even though it's not being used.

For some reason, I just find arnie's costumes of T1 more appealing to those in T2. I really like the first canvas studded jacket. Anyone knows who makes a good custom of those jacket and a T1 arnie head sculpt?

Yes, I saw a glimpse of what's hanging and dangling as he walks towards the punks. And I was glad that I didn't watch it on blu ray.

But if they decide to do it, then by all means Kojun should be the sculptor of the junk, I wouldn't want yulli to do it, as it wouldn't be as accurate.

Hot toys has never been in particular open with new licenses etc. They like to surprise us, its part of their magic and marketing.

I've asked a few questions when I was inquiring bout fixing my mark 2, and Germaine wasn't too excited to answer my questions. Prolly not part of her job description, and she's in no liberty to say anything regarding that dept.

But yeah, I think HT does research, and I bet they do know that T2 is a sucessful franchise, and they'd no doubt be selling these like hot cakes.

I've known his tackle was visible since the first time I saw the movie on cable when I was a kid. If it were just a matter of checking downstairs, I don't think they'd be needing the dogs.

Well Hot Toys have already stated no Arnold figure from Salvation ( But they didn't mention T2 )
