haha, agreed. Raiden was one of the character no one really liked, including me. everyone was mad when they had to play as him for 85% of Sons Of Liberty.

I'm really only interested in a couple versions of snake. l would like to have snake from MGS 2, and the tiger stripe camo suit from Snake Eater ( a better version of the already great Medicom one).

Doesn't mean Raidens art design didn't rock! id absolutly love a MGS2 Snake with a Raiden and all the accesories. oh man the possiblities!

also i don't see the problem with Mdicoms figures. Naked Snake was awsome all over, Raidens was very cool (only problem is articulation). Old snake i understand cause his face looked horrible, but his suit was amazing. i got all of these, and none with any flaws

I don't see these as being new issues, either. They always had issues, which is why I sold my Naked Snake. Just that it was the best that was out there. There is a 95%+ chance that will no longer be the case once Hot Toys versions are released.

One of the major flaws of the MGS franchise was making that cartwheeling, blonde haired girly man the main controllable character of MGS 2.

No, no, no, no.

Making Raiden the major controllable character was a MASTERSTROKE. Although it grated on me first too, it did exactly what it meant to; make Solid Snake appear even MORE legendary, trained and uber cool.



Same here Ven, Bats and Joker, Indy, Superman and now some quality MGS figures, 2011 may be the year I am finally 'out'

awesome that ht got mgs license, but don't think imma be seeing any of the characters i want made just yet. which is mgs 1 snake, gray fox cyber ninja, and mgs2 raiden. raiden is hated by most, but unfortunately mgs2 was the first game i played in the mgs series. got mgs1, but only saw bro played and beat it, so thought i'd try 2. gotta say i was looking forward to playing snake, but didn't mind raiden after a couple hours into the game. got the medicom mgs4 raiden already, so hoping that ht will maybe decide to make mgs rising raiden ver. when it releases. plus it's all mech-style and stuff like iron man.

For Big Boss i hope for a release with 2 headsculpts,one of them with eyepatch and little Camo face paint like the Croc version Medicom made,Tiger Stripe Camo outfit and the sneaking suit with a extra body as i assume the sneaking suit won't be removable,they know what weapons to add but one important weapon they need to add is "The Patriot" that Big Boss took from Boss after defeating her.

MGS is big news for fans and as much popularity the Medicom figures have(Tiger Stripe and Croc version specially) which have that cheap doll look,imagine how popular the HT figures will be,Fans will go nuts over these,and sell out crazy fast,mark my words.

Watch the document of MGS2 on the special edition DVD. It was completely Hideo's intention.

Worked a treat too. When you meet Snake again in Arsenal Gear, he is even more impressive an icon.

Well the pics show Naked Snake and The Boss, but the announcement is just stated as Metal Gear Solid. I wish we could get confirmation that the license is for the entire game series rather than just for MGS3. Don't get me wrong, I love Metal Gear Solid 3, but I'd really like to see their crack at the other entries in the series.

is this just for metal gear 3 ?or the entire series
