Really want a 1/6 Cyborg Raiden more than anything. I (wisely, I think) passed on the medicom rendition a few years back but really want a good sculpt of this fig - just such an awesome character design.

That's definitely the way to go. That, MGS 1 Snake, MGS 2 Snake, Plisskin, Liquid Snake, and Revolver Ocelot would just about do it for me. I might be tempted by Gray Fox/Cyborg Ninja, various FOXHOUND guys working for Liquid, Genome/Gurlukovich soldiers, alternative Naked Snake looks, Boss, Old Snake, etc. but that would just be gravy.

I don't want Raiden anywhere near my collection. I still haven't forgiven him for being the main controllable character in MGS 2

Well, Medicom Raiden is the most expensive of the RAH MGS figures. I've seen a few of them close for as high as $400 on Ebay .

If i remember correctly from previous Comic Cons,we haven't seen anything new that HT haven't allready announced.
I wouldn't get my hopes up for anything new from HT.
