I think it's natural to lose a bit of interest, but when it's delivered and looks absolutly stunning in hand and bad ass pics are being posted that excitement level will be right back...patience is a good thing even though I lack it completely.

My interest in the MK V waivered as time went by, now that pics have been hitting, i'm getting really excited for it now.

Although for this figure, my excitement hasn't faltered once.

I would agree if you could pick up most of their releases months after they are released, but most sell out quite quickly after in hand pics start showing up and sometimes when the PO is only up. So to HT it doesnt matter. They know most of what they produce will definitely sell out no matter when it's released. It's just a bit douchey to tease the fans for months and months and months but it definitely doesnt hurt their bottom line.

Agree, I think they have a good feel on what will sell fast but I don't see every release selling out by any stretch. This one will though imo. And yes, the months long tease then not a peep blows, and what was once great anticipation turned to frustration.

Yeah this is a special one....1. cause it's such a great character 2. I love the HS 3. The tailoring is phenomenal.

The only reason Im not losing my mind due to impatience is the longer it takes the more time I get to hold onto some cash.

This. I need to get this $250 (incl. international shipping) payment out of the way. And with the Aussie dollar dropping so rapidly these few days, it's going to cost me $260-270.

I might as well switch my order to a local retailer if I didn't already use a $10 coupon on sideshow and their customer service makes me feel at ease that I'll get a replacement if something goes wrong.
