Here's a teaser of the pose I plan to use, once my room is cleaned up from another project enough to deal with it properly. It's kind of a walking towards you pose, but you can't quite tell that from the picture. His right boot is actually angled up.

If I ever get this figure, I may have to jack (no pun intended) that pose from you. :p

Jack looks best with one foot behind the other or in a walking pose as you have shown, the feet are way too big and this helps disguise the issue.

jack arrived (no fuzzing yet)
cool figure, but the smirk-face is imho not jd
would love the gold-teeth version they showed as a proto

I ordered this figure because I hope ht gives us Angelica and I want them as a couple. Am I crazy because I ordered this figure only for this reason?! Don't understand me wrong this figure is one of HT best!

Thanks man! This figure is sooo good! A real work of art. You ordered from Goodshipped too, right? It took 3 or 4 days to get to me after he shipped. Excellent service in the end. I shouldnt have doubted him really.

Yeah I rod from goodshipped, I hope mine is that quick, it was posted yesterday

Maulfan, I think I might need some help lol!

:lol:lol:lol

Anyone know how to re-tie that thing? I'm afraid to strip mine down because of it.

Like Gipetto0812 said, there are loads of youtube videos showing how to tie a 1:1 Jack Sparrow sash(thank god!)

I'm not sure what those tutorial's tell you to do, but, I have my own method I worked out long ago on the original Jack's and am happy to share if anyone needs, I don't care so much if the wrapping and tying or whatever is accurrate so much as how much of the sash shows from under his belts and and how the parts hang and fold, I get it to look how it does in the movies, at least to me it does.

I finally got my Sparrow today and one of the belts is broken :gah: On the back of the belt where it's tied together with string, they punched the holes on one side on the edge so the string had ripped right through.

Can you return it? I would ASAP!

I contacted SS right away and i was told to take a pic of it, which i did. She would then forward it to the Returns Department, which she did, so now i'm just waiting for them to get back at me with a solution.

Good, SS will take care of you then! :D

:lol :rotfl :lol :rotfl

This is precisely what is holding me back from re-dressing him. I'm afraid I'll never get the sash the way it's supposed to be.
I'd really like to modify the sash to be thinner...

Anyway, I had this idea for a pose today:

I'm thinking gun in left hand and compass in right. :)

:lol

There are YouTube vids that show the proper way to put the shash on. While those vids are for 1:1 versions it should work the same. It's how I put my sash the right way with my custom COTBP Sparrow

Good to know! I'ma try and find one! :banana
