If the sculpt has a weakness, it's that it looks alot younger than the real Depp. His features are bit leaner and sharper on the figure than they are on film. Still a great sculpt, just very forgiving.

Agreed, but I kind of like that. He has the longer dreads and trinket configuration of OST, but other than the X on his cheek, the face really feels more like the earlier Pirates films, and I'm glad for that, there are things about his OST look I don't like. The Shape of his bandana atop his head looks goofy and HT went more like the old ones, the eye makeup is more soft and subtle on the figure where it was really heavy and strong in OST. The figure is more how Jack should have looked in OST than how he did look.

Just got this one in. Found it on eBay under captain jack by a member here. Thanks for the info who ever you were. Picked it up for $190.00 shipped priority mail. Exclusive no less. Still sealed.

All I can say it WOW! This thing rocks!

This is an incredible figure that looks fantastic on the shelf!

The only issue I have is that the hat won't stay on. It seems too small, so it pops off immediately.

Just need to push down brotha. Put the front on first, then push down hard on the rear of the hat until it's far enough down and it stays.

You really should get this piece regardless of Cannibal King Jack's announcement. This is THE Jack imo with his iconic jacket and hat. That and the fact that his costume and tailoring in OST is more elaborate than in DMC and is much more impressive in figure form.

Also, this one has PERS and two great headsculpts. We really have no idea what HT would pump out in turns of expressions for their next figure.

I have always been of the opinion that the 'Smirk' nose is too straight, thin and pointy. I have also been of the opinion that the nose on the serious sculpt is perfect. I'm sticking with my opinions!

Does anyone have a picture of their figure with fully futzed sash? Maulfan -- you must have one. Rory?

I'm gonna have a go at this guy on Sunday -- finally -- and I want to fully futz him. Because the coat is the wrong color, I find that Sparrow looks a bit too "brown" in his brown boots, pants, coat and hat. I want to try the regular pirate look sans coat and hat with this DX; the not so subtle red, white and blue look. I'll give the coat and hat to the AWE Jack.... assuming I can find a Sweeney body and an extra pair of OST boots.

I'm thinking of swapping it out, I applaud the idea of lace like the real thing is but it doesn't work so well.
