I'm not a Resident Evil fan...These HT figures are so cool it's hard to bypass them, even for properties I have no interest in like Res Evil and Appleseed.

You gotta play at least RE4 Dave, it's a great game and I guarantee you'll become a fan.

As for Appleseed, I saw the anime, it's really slick and the character are cool. The Hot Toys figures look real good too.

I hate to say this, but I was really excited for these. But at $150 each the price does not justify the product for me....so I am passing on these.

I think I'm now gonna pass on the Leon's... some of the new shots of the head just look too simple (although accurate) to warrant the price tag. However, now I'm feeling the Chainsaw Killer. And its nice he's a bit cheaper

Wow, thanks BlueSparrow! Your comments were very helpful. I do like that Sideshow offers the points and they let you know when it comes in so I could cancel and of course if there is a problem they take care of it. If I can get them much cheaper I might go elsewhere, I'll see.

I made the mistake of showing these to my 8 and 12 year olds sons. One collector in the family was plenty to keep us poor. Now I gotta deal with them too.

I agree they are expensive. I am going to try to limit myself and just get two. I am going for the Leon (Brown Jacket version) and the Chainsaw killer. I think those two best represent RE4. Although I will leave the rest on preorder. I don't want to make the same mistake that I did with the Marines from Aliens. My most horrible mistake ever not picking them up.

Anyway, yeah for the money you made the right choice all the way. I mean look at all the crap that Leon comes with! Peter only comes with what? A measly camera and an unsightly neckline?

True that my friend, true that. Just comparing the two, the choice was obvious and I'm glad I made the right one.
