Does anyone else find it really annoying that you can't change out hisright hand without those blades getting in the way? You can only position that hand facing inwards. :monkey4>me frustrated.

I hate the fact he doesn't come with fist hands. I mean, come on, they did it for their Batman Begins and Superman Returns figures, you're telling me they can't do it for their Predators?

I'm thinking of just getting one of the old Predator model kits just for the fists and jury rigging them onto the HTs hand pegs.

Though hopefully, they'll make some for the Predator 1 figure....

They increased the paint app but gave us crappy options in the hand category. I wish that i could swap the hands around, and have a hand that could properly grip the skull

Agreed. I just got mine yesterday. Aside from the right gauntlet's blades(Which are inaccurate; the blades in the movie didn't extend that long, and the serrated blades aren't curved downward in Predator 2), the figure pretty much ****ing rocks! :rock

I definitely thinking about selling off my Ancient Elder Asia Predator, since I only liked the original movies anyway...

Man, the AvP Preds sure have gotten unpopular around here all of a sudden! I don't know about the rest of you, but I have no plan to get rid of mine any time soon. If any of you guys happen to have a Scar exclusive you'd care to part with, I'd be willing to give him a good home, if the price is right, tho. :D

Ive got a Scar but hes assembled, not exclusive though.

The AVP preds dont have the detail the Elder and P2 have not at all

They were HT's first attempt at doing Predators, and in certain ways they're simpler than the newer ones, but I still like 'em. If for no other reason than their armour construction is much sturdier than the P2's. I've taken their gear off and on lots of times with no breakage at all. The bendable dreadlocks are thicker and may not hang quite as realistically as the new ones, but they can be posed to simulate movement, which is something the new style dreads can't do. They all have good and, um... not so good points, but I still like all of them way too much to think about getting rid of 'em.

It's just that the AVP Preds aren't the ones I remember the most. Sure they have some cool mask designs(Celtic), but they're pretty bland. Basically it's the same figure with different paint, add-ons(IE: Scar's ab plate, Chopper's skulls...) and with the Ancient figures, just taking one of the armor plates off.

Atleast Winston's Preds had diversity, you know? They had different armor designs, different body colors while still looking like Predators.

^^ So true, the AVP Preds lacked in difference majorly. If the masks were the same imagine that, Look at the leap from P2 to Wolf its outstanding

Agreed! But like I said, it was their first venture with any Predator figures. I wasn't crazy about the figures being basically the same figure with only little variations in design, etc., but I still got 'em anyway. They were 1/6 scale articulated Predator figures! And nothing can compare with Stan Winston's designs, but the HT figures are a good starting point for customizing some much more interesting Pred characters. That's what I'll probably end up doing with mine one of these days. Repainting their bodies and modifying their armour to make each one more unique could make a big difference. Look what Les did with his. There's a lot of potential there just waiting to be exploited!

my p2 preds spear got completely trashed today.my fault:monkey2
it was really loose and wouldnt stay closed so i though id put a dab of super glue in the joints and close and extend till it tightened up a bit. it got "superglued" semi open, then i panicked and tried to force it out and broke the damn thing lol. any how ive chopped the thing up and glued it together in its closed position. also put together a little sling to hang it on the p2s back. its simple but looks ok i guess, ill post a few pics tonight.
