From Hong Kong. I currently have two orders going, and this email I received is for half of the first order. I just bought something off ebay and want it added to one of my orders, so I want a new invoice for combined shipping so I can pay them. Now they tell me the boss is in Japan and he'll sort me out. I don't think these jokers know what they are doing, so it may be a false alarm, but they've given me some tracking info, so something is on its way to me, and its says Pred 2 Elder and Brown Aliens warrior, so that's cool by me.

Hello everyone! It's my first post here, and I wouldn't have even known about this place if I hadn't have stumbled across one of P!tu's youtube videos. Anywaaaaay...
I just bought my first Predator! I looked over SO many of the Predator 2 pics on this forum and HAD to have one, so I looked all over the net, and then ebay and scored one for $140 shipped. The best part is that it's from my own state, and even better, it's coming from a comic store that I've been in many times.
So my questions are, on a scale of 1-10, how difficult is it to put together? And what are some things I should be really careful with not to break when putting it together?

P.S. - One other thing.... I've seen those resin mask kits on ebay that come with like, 7 different helmets, if anyone has them and the P2 Predator, can you tell me if they look alright on the figurine?
welcome and congrats man!!!
best advice i can give you is to TAKE YOUR TIME!!! be patient, and use a hair dryer on anything that seems stiff and requires a lot of force to attach. with patience, putting one of these togethers, albeit a bit of frustration, can be a TON of fun and is so satisfying when you are done.

I pre orderd my Predator 2 from Hong Kong on the 1st of October and got it VERY quick after that when it released there. I also paid for an Elder from the same seller as a combined deal and got awesome shipping rates and im awaiting for that now. Some ebay business called abcexpress, they emailed me and said it will be this month for sure that its released so hopefully ill get it soon

Reinhardt, thanks a bunch for the info and the welcome! I'll keep the hair dryer info in mind. I do have one other question, and that is should I put the net suit over the body when it's all put together, or should I do the torso first, and connect everything inside the suit?

I put the body together first, and then added the net suit.
the net suit is really quite easy to put on top of the entire body.
just don't add the head till the end! (but i'm sure you already knew that)

AdamBombOi: Welcome to the board and to the Official Pred 2 Thread! One thing I might add (if you haven't already read it somewhere else) is that you'd best put the armour knee pads on before you assemble the lower legs!
After you get the net suit on over the rest of the body, just slip the knee pads up over the (empty) net material on each leg. Then insert the lower leg pieces into the net suit, attach them, and fit the pads over the knees. I've heard this method will save you a lot of grief over trying it any other way. Anyway, enjoy your new Pred!

Hey guys, THANKS for the tips! I'm looking SO forward to getting this in the mail, it should be in rather soon. Priority Mail, and the item being only 5 hours away already.

guys, i got my pred 2 today, and i have to say it looks 10 times better in person that in any pics. this is my first pred, my first 1/6 scale figure for that matter and i am not gona stop collectng these. its ****ing awsome!! putting this together was fun, took a while, still fun
only thing im upset about is this.
got my combistick with the tip broken. im gonna try to glue it together tomorrow but i dont think itll hold.any advice on if i can get a replacement stick? i bought this from big bad toy store. should i contact them or hot toys directly?

Congrats!!!!! Use super glue!! i dont sweat anymore when my 1/6 stuff breaks cause super glue fixes it up! perfect!!!!

alright, will try superglue, pitu you have trouble posing this figure? when i hook up the stand to his midsection it pops off over time. the only stable position i could find was on the thigh, but it limits poses

Yeah, mine broke in one place, and one of the segments was painted shut so I had to break it just to be able to fix it. But with a bit of gel superglue you'd never know the difference.
And the one break was exactly like yours... just be sure to line it up so it will close properly.

As to your break, I had EXACTLY the same break. Word of advice, if you know how, drill a very small hole in each part, and put in a small bit of metal rod, wire, something that will help hold it, or it may break off again. I did that and it is stronger than before.
Great news on your new figure! Get 'em all! They all rock!
