Tyler yes. Norton No.

Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson and Louis Leterrier have contract stipulations for two sequels, if Marvel wanted to bring them back. Norton’s contract doesn’t have any such stipulations. Even if a sequel isn’t greenlit, The Hulk will return in the upcoming Superhero team-up film The Avengers. However, I’d be shocked if Norton returned to reprise the role of Bruce Banner.

Norton may or may not return dependant on what they allow him to do for the sequel. He has expressed interest in continuing the story but wants to be in from day one for the script to get his name on it (he wasn't allowed to have credit because the screenwriter's guild blocked it since the original script was completed by Zak Penn) Fingers crossed but he isn't signed for a multiple picture deal like Downey is.

Here is the article that has some interesting info on what is cut:

ahhhh. Thanks for the heads up. I like actor / character continuity in movies. It's kind of a big deal for me...

Its a big deal for A LOT of folks. One of my best friends simply refuses to see a film if they change actors....

I guarantee you though that Marvel Studios after a 60 Million weekend will do everything possible to get him back, its up to Norton though to play ball...

I agree with you there 100%

We'll how it turns out. But, one way or another ($$$) it all works out...usually.

yeah as a egotistical as the movie company heads seem to be they'll think having the same lead actor doesn't matter. i hope not, i'm looking forward to seeing this...hopefully tomorrow night.

I am seriously devoted to my Marvel. :lol

Note this. With the film slate already busy the earliest we'd get a Hulk sequel would be 2012....plenty of time to work things out with Norton for a full film. I'm sure he'd be game for a full Avengers film since if he was resistant they'd just keep him Hulk for most of the film.

Doom's name has already been sullied thanks to the Fantastic Four movies...

Ultron would be easy to "explain" and would be a very likely candidate for an Avengers villain.

Ok I have been gone all weekend ans plan to see the Hulk tommorow and just want to know if you stay after the credits for any sneak peeks?

Don't worry about staying--they moved the extra post-credits scene and now it ends the movie instead. Nothing after the credits but the lights coming up in the theater.

I just came back from seeing it a second time, gets better each time :rock :rock!!

Sucks for your friend! Guess he can't see the Dark Knight! ;)

I too hate when they change actors, but I'd rather have a changed actor than no film at all. Sure I'd like Norton to continue, but if they can't, so be it. Banner has already been recast twice. Plus they could just keep the Hulk as the Hulk for his screen time.

The score was fantastic!!!!! :rock:rock:rock:rock i cant wait to get mine

I wonder if because it's 2 discs with 20+ tracks on it, that means it's from the longer cut of the film and is why it's not available through the standard places. Either way, I'm just glad I can get it. I hope there's more use of the 70's piano music though, I was sad to see that not used as much as I thought from the website and trailers, unless it was used at points it wasn't as noticeable, having just the score will help that cause. I'm predicting now, my favorite track will be when Bruce is talking to Betty and then leaps out of the helicopter.

Beat out the Panda at the box office.

The Incredible Hulk
3 Day Gross

IM made over a 100 million, I wonder if this will effect the decision to make number 2? The Ang Lee’s made over 60 something million its first weekend…I still think that last movie is hurting this one.

Word of mouth has been favorable for this one, so I see it having better legs than the first flick.

Obviously nowhere near the legs Iron Man has.
