Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

I ordered 3 of each the series 1 figures apart from the endo. Just ordered one, curious to see what they do with it, if anything.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

Yeah. Well BBTS says June. I didn't order from them because they aren't selling them seperately, only in cases so far.

I don't know why they didn't just use the text from the beginning of the movie...

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

The Endoskeleton in the new wave will have a brand new improved head, a new paint job and stronger plastic.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

I have one on order along with 3 of each the other two figures in series 1. I'm a bit meh about endo's at this scale now. Aside from correcting that awful head from the previous one I don't see how a small 8" figure can be improved.

Who are you kidding, if it's better, you'll buy it a-dev. :lol

I'm pretty sick of the Endos myself but if this one is indeed improved, I'll have to pick it up. Hopefully the 4th time is a charm. Each Endo so far has had it's positives and negatives. There's always something that keeps it from being perfect be it quality control, articulation or sculpt. I'm starting to feel like Goldilocks.

Once upon a time, there was a little boy named DiFabio. He had always wanted a great Terminator figure collection. Pretty soon, he came upon several 8" Endoskeleton figures.

At the table in the store, there were three figures. He opened the first figure in what appeared to be a toy from Mcfarlane.

"This body is not perfect" he exclaimed.

So, he opened the figure from NECA

"This one has a nice base but it breaks easily and the eyes are too big!" he said

So, he opened the last figure, which was also a NECA.

"EYES ARE TOO SMALL AND IT LOOKS ANGRY" he said angrily and he threw it against the wall.........

When will they get it just right?

:lol

I'm quite predictable when it comes to the toys from these films. Yep I have one on order sight unseen and despite the fact I'm pretty happy with my NECA/McFarlane kitbashes.

Your goldilocks story sums the 8" endo situation pretty well I think.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

I also think they photoshopped the head (which is quite common with promotional pictures). Notice how small and squashed it looks, and yet in the sample it looks perfect. Either way, the features for a 8" figure looks spot on.

It definitely seems improved to me. If the plastic is indeed better, like they said and the head actually turns then this should be the best Endo yet.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

Also, I remember them saying on twitter that the jaw on this one is not moveable, and the head is pretty much one piece.
