Nailed? Hardly. These look subpar, like their T2 line. I'm referring to their "likeness" of course. Everything else look pretty good for a $15 toy.

Of course. I will get these to go with my T2 NECA's .................... MIMB of course. They ARE fun pieces, don't get me wrong but i'm just seeing too much T2 in that sculpt.

Certainly at this scale I don't think it could be any better. The face on the Police shootout figure looks dead-on to me.

Agreed, but...

i'm just seeing too much T2 in that sculpt.

They got Arnold's likeness good, but with the spikey hair heads, they did not get the T1 look good, possibly worse than HT did. It looks to me like the T2 head wearing Gargoyles and not a T1 sculpt, the hair just doesn't look like T1. I haven't seen any official T1 sculpt that has gotten that hair well, the best I've seen is the Sideshow PF.

Agreed. His hair sticks out at the sides and back. A real boxy hairdo.

For now I will continue to come back to Xeno's sculpt, the face is a bit soft in detail, but he really got the ahir style right, maybe a bit short on top, but hte sides are great.

As far as getting the T1 hair style, this sculpt is still unmatched in my eyes.

With the shades. Without is close enough for the scale but it being NECA the paint is always gonna hurt the likeness even if they made it 12" or 18".

I like his work but to me that face looks more like Brian Thompson, particularly below the mouth. I see what you mean about the hair though.

That's why I said the hair, I think HT did great on the face area, but their hair was lacking. Xeno's was the best T1 Arnie sculpts before HT, and even HT isn't perfect but the best available to us, but everyone, maybe because of watching T2 and T3 too much, goes more T2 style with the T1 spiked hair in sculpts, forgetting that it wasn't a spikey style but just the bangs singed off, the read of his hair being as long and full as it was in the Tech noir scenes.

Agreed. At first glance they look solid ............ and then you examine the little details. I'd have to be sick to pass up on anything T1 related though. These are all a done deal, minus the Endos of course.

Not for $40... The fingers would be impossible to do for such a low price.

I thought about at the price of the new Predator which is around 80 dollar. Improved sculpt and paint for 80 bucks. I don't think Neca has a future at the lower quality areas in 1/4...I hope this is one of the reasons why they went up with the classic predator.

These are all a done deal, minus the Endos of course.

All of the endos from Neca are a big let down to me. They are just look horrible.

Have you been exposed to too much hot toys? There's been comparisons to arnold's face in T2 and the T2 figure by neca, and they match up perfectly..

Have you been exposed to too much sunlight? There's been comparisons to HT's and NECA sculpts and there's no comparison. NECA is far from "perfection" newb.

They got Arnold's likeness well, but the head feels more T2, I agree.
