Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

from neca: We eliminated the leg articulation. The coat hinders the movement & to be consistent across the Terminator line it is better to remove the leg joints so Resse matches T-800, T-1000 etc. The trenchcoat is a big and expensive piece to tool so it balances out

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

Jeez he looks like a total bum so far! :monkey1

Looks good. Hes definitely happening, a fully licensed Kyle Reese figure at last.....he is fully licensed isn't he? As in they're using his likeness?

I'm cool with that. The stance looks nice and stable.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

They have tons of reference pictures of Biehn, so I think they are using his likeness.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

The pose looks really great actually. Perfect for wielding the shotgun in Tech Noir. I wonder how close they'll get the headsculpt.

And seconded on the hope that HT will follow up with a Kyle Reese of their own.

This will be a nice addition to my MIMB NECA T1/T2 collection so this is awesome. But damn, imagine a present day Hot Toys Kyle Reese, maybe DX'd? :thud:

Have you bought them all so far or are you being selective? You're probably best not ever opening the T2 series 3 T-1000s...if you do they will crumble before your eyes.

I wish we knew for sure HT will do Kyle Reese. Well, I wish we knew for sure HT will go back to their Terminator lines at all however I can't believe that they won't considering the Predator and Robocop announcements.

Strangely enough Kyle Reese was the very first Movie Masterpiece Series HT figure so they must have some interest in him. Ideally we'd get an all-encompassing 1984 version - maybe 2 heads, one clean and one bloodied, and both the coats he wears in the film.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

I would LOVE a HT 1984 Kyle Reese. Also, on the news theres been a kid called Kyle Reese who's just died and at my school theres a girl called Sarah Connor....

With the Character wearing Nikes does Neca need to pay Nike or does that copyright come with Reese's license... :dunno

Yeah I did it briefly about 5 years ago with 7" figures but in the end I just prefer them in packaging. They display better if that makes any sense.

As for the figures i've bought say 95% of them. I only bought tech noir and police station shootout from the last series.

HT's is and will always be a mystery. I bought my first Enterbay figure this week. Hey if they wanna keep making comic stuff all the power to them. I want Terminator stuff and I could care less who makes it in the end.

Of coarse they are. They would not be making Reese or Hicks otherwise.

They're not making Ripley because Weaver won't give her likeness.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

Kyle Reese is looking good. Hopefully the headsculpt doesn't disappoint.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

I remember my 12 inch Tim Roth's Mr. Orange from reservoir dogs did not bring a gun.. the box even said at the bottom (no gun at actor's request)
:lol:lol:lol a reservoir dogs movie figure, but no gun....

what's funny is that it did bring a little cigarette, a lighter and a cigarette box..

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

I didn't know about that^ I'd happily buy a Ripley figure without a gun if thats all it took to get it made.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

I bought today finally my first Terminator figure and its T-800 Battle damaged Tech Noir.I havent opened him yet but he looks great!:yess:

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

Not any News ?
Neca are very lame.

What is with a 18" Arnold ?

What is with new 7" figures.

Re: Official NECA The Terminator Thread

What is with this thread in the non-articulated section? :dunno
