I thought McFarlane stopped doing the 3-D posters?

yeah, i got the impression that they stopped some time ago. i have 4 of them, and was hoping to collect all the alien and predator ones, but they stopped after the first Alien.

My MM4 T-800 with custom battle-damaged arm. I took a bit of dramatic licence and used a mostly endoskeletonised arm (with 2 fleshy bicep/tricep pistons from T3 box set figure) and ripped up the jacket part (MM3 Snake Plissken) a bit more to show it off. I had to do this anyway as there was no way I could find to make the rubber jacket arm sit right in relation to the body. So I overly battledamaged it instead.

Thanks chaps. Well that set-up isn't a permanent thing - I had it on my bedroom floor and only used the styrofoam as the better alternative as a backdrop than the random old carpet thats on the ground at the moment. I will be without shelves for at least another year I imagine till the house gets completely renovated. It'll be something to look forward to to finally give all my figures a permanent home again. Meantime they're either in boxes or just piled up somewhere.

I just thought it a good idea to remind people about the McFarlane figures which are still pretty good. I love the exploded T-1000.

Tyler the Sarah connor is from McFarlane Movie maniacs V. There were 3 versions, one with hair down, one with hair in ponytail and a cap and one with just the ponytail. I didn't really showcase her much. Might try to add some more Sarah connor orientated pics.

I ordered my 12" through Toys R Us, hopefully won't be too long, shipping estimate was mid-July so pretty on schedule.

I've tried the cross-company headswitch and it does work. That is to say the NECA heads are in scale with the MM4 body and the neck is the perfect length. Just something else that kicks supreme a$$ about these figures. Only thing is you'd have to manufacture a way to get the head on permanantly with articulation and all. Like remove the ball from the NECA torso and insert its stalk into the McFarlane figure's neck socket. Otherwise you have to use bluetack to keep the head on.

I can't wait to do this when I get the Battledamage NECA figure because the undamaged heads we currently have aren't scene-appropriate for the McFarlane figure.
