Re: NECA 12inch Terminator2 discussion (pics on page4)

Saw him at suncoast today, damn looking at the pictures on page 4 makes me regret not picking him up and it only cost $30. Probably next time if I see him again I will pick one up.

Re: NECA 12inch Terminator2 discussion (pics on page4)

So, just the two 12" are planned...right? Heck, they could turn them all into 12" and I'd get them all!

Re: NECA 12inch Terminator2 discussion (pics on page4)

So would I, Man or Machine would have benefitted from a larger scale to work in all the detail of the prototypes endo-arm that got lost in the 7". And everyone says they'd have bought the minigun figure at 12".

But since it seems they aren't releasing them all in 12" I think they chose the right two. Got shipping notice on my pescadero yesterday so I'm cautiously optimistic that I might have it by next weekend.

The battledamaged one with the missing arm. Particularly worthwhile because its to have an LED eye.

Re: NECA 12inch Terminator2 discussion (pics on page4)

They're using the same picture for both 7" and 12" which I presume is the prototype. We've yet to see what the Final Battle figure will actually look like when its scaled down to 7". I can see it losing some of the sculpt detailing on that BD arm in much the same way that the MoM figure did. The 12" will hopefully make up for that though.

Anyone knows if the new 18" endoskeleton will have any differences/improvements compared with the old 18" endoskeleton released a few years ago?

Ok, I got my Terminator Arnie via Amazon today and the 12" rocks....I thought the 7" was good, but the paint apps, separate glasses just add to the larger scale...so much so, I am bummed Neca is not doing them all in 12"

This is the T2 fig I have been waiting for every since Mcfarlane co dropped the 'likeness issue ball'

Thanks, Neca...awesome figure!

Here is Arnie next to the 12" Sideshow Solo figure...sorry for the flash, but this gives you an idea to scale....

I don't have any SS Star Wars so I'm relieved you haven't stolen my thunder as far as I'm concerned by posting a comparison shot before me! :D

So far so good though. SS figures are a tad bigger than other 1/6ths aren't they?

True, they are - I believe Solo is on the medium size body, so he is right around 12" exactly. The arnie fig is a real nice size...I think its awesome

They coulda painted the eyes, though!
