But the time line does mention things from both Aliens and Alien3. Technically even Alien Resurrection. So yeah.

I may have missed the Alien 3 and Resurrection references. What were they? I'm guessing the Aliens references was Yutani?

The ones I found for those 3 movies were:

ALIENS
The Weyland Storm Rifle (Early version of the Pulse Rifle)
The Power Loader
Discovery of Acheron LV-426
Atmospheric Processor (Terraforming device, used on LV-426)
Hypersleep Chambers
Transplanetary Peacekeeping (Space Marines)


ALIEN 3
Establishment of HD 85512 b Class E Correctional Unit (Prison planet facility like Fiorina 'Fury' 161)
Discovery of the Outer Veil (Where Fiorina 'Fury' 161 is located)


And the reason I said "technically" for A:R is because the DNA sample for Ripley (used to clone her) was found on Fiorina 'Fury' 161 (which the Weyland time line acknowledges).

you got the stuff like powerloader, atmosphere generator references for the aliens. off world correctional unit for alien 3...Resurrection? i got blank.

If they didn't want it to count, they could've omitted any reference to that or Alien 3. Which is the problem, since Alien 3 and A:R are bound together (because of the whole DNA plot). So you can't say one is canon (Alien 3) and not the other (A:R). Probably why they said F it and just included everything minus the AVP movies (which aren't supposed to be canon).

Agreed. Everything but AvP is canon.

Alien Res is so far away from the timeline that it doesn't even really matter all that much.
