my favorite is Aliens, then Alien, then the rest are a mess, 4 movies, not one good movie among them, all 4 movies are a mess in their way, amazing how much they could mess this franchise up...

what the hell are you even talking about? LOL you don't even make sense, i was taking about AVP you ding Dong not the original two
I know everyone likes to ignore the AVP movies and say they are not related to Alien but, they are aliens, after all, just like the predators in those movies are actual predators,
I Was talking how they completely messed alien with A3 and A:R and then again with AVP, thats 4 films
Of course Alien is a masterpiece, Aliens is amazing too,

it still applies, to what I was saying, of how much they screwed up a great franchise, i dont know how they could just screw this up

I love the first 3 Alien films. Alien is perfect in every way. Aliens ups the ante while remaining true to the first and adding an action element while still remaining absolutely horrifying in spots (my ex girlfriend made me shut it off when the Aliens came crashing down from the ceiling she was so scared!). Alien 3 is just hypnotic to me. It's the most beautifully bleak film I have ever seen. Ripley is not allowed to be happy or have any kind of hope. Newt/Hicks, dead in first 5 minutes. She develops a relationship with the doctor Clemens, he dies. Queen found inside her chest. Just bleak and it shows how she can not possibly have no other outcome than to kill herself and the Queen with her. As if it's meant to be. And the camera work and lighting made me a Fincher fan before Se7en. Alien Resurrection is garbage. It had a decent concept, but once the aliens are unleashed, it goes nowhere. It's not scary, it's not even likeable. And that's not even mentioning the Newborn...and I won't mention AVP films as they aren't worth tearing apart. It's so great we have Ridley Scott back to bring back some respect back to this series.

No, they really don't count, as they go against continuity.

They could have Ripley if they wanted too...but it doesn't make it canon.

Weyland never knew about the Xenomorphs before hand, two, Aliens have never, ever been on earth. Just wouldn't be possible.

Three, they suck worse then Res.

Depends what you get out of it. I agree as a film AVP:R was terrible but I have a soft spot for Wolf. There was nothing in A:R that I liked.

So the BBFC has passed Prometheus as a 15 certificate with no cuts in the UK.
They also say this as advice
Contains strong violence, gore, threat and horror

Ugh don't even talk about resurrection . The movie is disgusting when that alien gets sucked through the hole and it's guts pour out is absolutely disturbing . I'm 22 and still can't watch it
