Even though I love the Aliens score, it being an almost ripoff of Khan makes it the lesser of them all.

Not really James Horner's fault...but still

okay fair enough that was pretty good, Never actually listened to it by itself like that.

reminds me a little bit of some of the songs from Batman Forever, a little bit in one of the instruments, sounds familiar. Like part of a song from the Batman movie.

Prometheus is still better though.

Yep. Honestly, my bias for the Alien franchise aside, I really think Prometheus had the best score of the year. Avengers' wasn't bad, but very forgettable. TDKR just sounded like the other two Batman films' scores recycled.


Despite the overall poor quality of the film, I thought Resurrection's score was really good too.

When it comes to music, the original score still holds special to me after all these years.

Alien and Alien 3 are almost neck and neck for me. But the ending track for 3 pushes that extra inch over.
