Why would people want figures from this movie!? I think the only "cool" figure would be the Space Jokey dude. That's it.

Design wise I think the everything looks cool.

Exactly. The spacesuits look very cool. I'd buy some humans (and a certain android) in them.

The Weyland Industries commercial (viral video from Scott's team) for David 8 is not only creepy, it has all the milk necessary to make one think of a certain "twitchy" android.

Eyes-the trailers are awesome, plus past experience leads us to believe that it will be good. What would make you think it won't be great?

Oh, nothing. Not saying it won't be. But I was wondering why everybody was so amped from the first trailer. The new trailer was sick though.

Second trailer looks just as good as I expected. Easily my most anticipated movie of the year.

Definitely want a Hot Toys and/or Sideshow Space Jockey!

I'm guessing Fox looked at the marketing misfire and implossion of John Carter and got cold feet about the enigmatic campaign they were running for this film. This is a much more straightforward trailer. They even tease the appearance of the Xeno. If "the alien" is going to be in this film I think Fox will stick it in another teaser between now and release. They won't leave anything to chance after watching Disney eat a 300 million dollar lemon.

I like when Noomi Rapace says, "Prometheus, are you seeing this?" Dallas says, "Ash, can you see this?" in ALIEN.

I thought she was reading "Prometheus" on the wall.. Like, "Did you see this? It says Prometheus"..but I guess she could have just been talking to the crew on the Prometheus..


I am so excited for this movie I'd buy anything from it..and the Jockey isn't the only thing in the movie. We have bunch of awesome characters/actors, the new Xenomorph-like monster(s), Jockey pilot chair(s), mutated crew, maybe a wall-mountable alien mural thingy.. and it looks like there is more intelligent life in the movie than just the Space Jockeys... Oh, and all of the vehicles.

...I'd buy a freakin Peter Weyland figure from the TED video.

Until those accuray issues start to creep in then you will get cold feet like with the Preds.

The Hot Toys human figures are almost always very accurate, minus the slight asian look in some..so I don't have to worry about the crew or Space Jockey (or whatever the giant guy(s) was/are)...but NECA has the license too, right?

Yes. NECA has the license. They should be showing something around the film's release.

The Q and A was great to watch.

I liked it when someone asked whether there will be moments like the chestburster scene from Alien and Ridley said yes and that he's a bit embarrassed about them.
