Does anyone know where I can find some high quality photos of Sideshow's 1/6 Darth Vader? Did OneSixOmg , Lukazou or anyone like them take pics of Vader?

All told I did the following modifications to him:
Adjusted angle of the domeLowered the height using adbomen swap
Swapped the cape and Tabbars for the TonyMeis version

So not a lot of work and now I think he's pretty spot-on

Your Vader looks nice.

What exactly did you do to the dome now? I take it that's the SS dome. I got this guy coming to me next week so I'm looking into my options of fixing the dome. Whether getting the Hasbro or doing something to the original, if possible. Thanks.

I did 3 major things to Vader:
1) Height lowered by swapping out his abdomen with a Stormtrooper body abdomen. Not a huge difference in height, but it makes him look closer to the right scale with the rest of the series.
2) Changed the cape and robe for a custom set from Tony Meis
3) Carved out the inner supports on the Sideshow helmet so it will sit lower and tilt back more.

All pretty easy fixes. I'd say the robes and cape are the least necessary, but I just prefer how nice the new set looks by comparison.

The helmet you want comes with 3 versions of Vader;the "electronic"Vader,the "Sith Lords"2-pack(Vader and Maul) and the "Ultimate Vader"set.Hasbro was also selling replacement helmets, but I believe they sold out some time ago...PS

I am not breaking out a Hasbro fig I have had in storage for ten years to scavenge parts to fix my $225 SSC Vader 2.0.

After seeing a lot of modded Vaders, I definitely prefer the adjusted SSC dome to the Hasbro one.

I'm just ramping up to the Vader thing now that the DX is coming. I mean a Hasbro dome? And I know about the huge height on Vader 1.0, but the cape was so bad it needs a custom cape? And then I see that even the $$$ legendary Hurricane Vader is just a 1990's vinyl kit crossed with a bunch of Hasbro parts? What are people smoking in Vaderville?

I think Kuzeh's Vader looks amazing. This is the Hasbro dome.
Although I do like the finish on the SS dome, it's seems sharper and glossier, especially when modded, Galactiboy's looks fantastic.

I guess it's down to how discerning you are as a collector, this looks the most accurate head I have seen so far.

I like to keep my figs in original condition, so I didn't do the helmet mod. The height doesn't bother me really, cause it makes Vader so imposing and that's ok. But the cape.... that hideous tent of a cape completely destroys the silhouette of this figure for me. When I draped lforigno's on it the whole figure lifted. I can live with the cape on OC Bats, so I'm not super picky in general... but I think Vader's stock cape really hurts the figure.
