Here are two other pictures of the prototype Vader from the side for comparison purposes. In all the pictures of the protoype Vader, the perspective is slightly different from the pictures that MF has provided, but I do think it is possible that the difference between the helmets may be merely due to the position of the dome on the figure...or maybe I just want to believe that because it can be easily fixed if that is the case

Nit picking when it comes to Star Wars will never end ever...hell we all know that when you can buy a shirt that says "Han shot first", i know people had high hopes for this one being pretty canon to the film look so, the nitpicking and comparing to film stills makes sense..some people are more passionate about it then others and actually know the little things others do not but, in retrospect look how much nitpicking goes on in general about the movies alone, nevermind merchandise.

I remember you pointing that out a while back. However, the evidence looked convincing that the flares were ALSO shorter. Now, I am not so sure.

Well, it's all in MF's hands now...
Since the dome came off, he can adjust it and take pics to see if a) it is possible and b) it looks good.

I don't think its possible without causing any kind of damage to the figure. I know that it won't be seen, but Sean won't damage this one.

It is pegged and glued on to the head then..yes?.

I would just pop it off and put some two way tape in there and adjust it to a suitable angle.

Yeah, but to change the angle and placement of the dome, he might have to cut off some of the peg.
