I can't believe it'll almost be a year from order to delivery. Is the longest we have waited for a Star Wars figure?

I think Leia as Boush was the longest , it was over a year Vader will start
shipping a few weeks shy of a year.
Atcually if you count down from 06/15/09 the day the 18 day notices where sent out that woukld put it at arriving at the warehouse on Thursday 7/01/09
so it could start shipping next Thursdasy or Friday.
I'm pretty sure though they will at least start charging accounts at the end of next week.
I'm guessing with SDCC orders strating to ship on 07/17/09 they are going to want to get all of the Vaders shipped by 07/16/09

Funny that. Medi only did the ROTJ head. So that's inaccurate and in total, considerably less appealing than Sideshow's with the straight dome (from recent pics, it only needs to be tilted as Hurricane suggested in the beginning). And, from MaulFan's pics, I saw a lining for the cloak that actually looks far superior and considerably more screen accurate than the cut piece of cloth with rusty chain that Medi used. I think, at this point, you guys are pulling a Gollum and fighting the inevitable.
Yeah, I didn't realize the cape was lined until these recent pics. Nice touch.
