Official SS CW Anakin 1/6 scale picture thread

Here is my CW Anakin along with a bashed Episode III Anakin using the CW head/neck, gloved hand and boots (for the increased flexibility and need to be painted black yet) and a HT body. I know it is not quite accurate as the hair needs to be longer but it is a big improvement over the standard release.

That really looks good. The clothes seem a bit baggy, but otherwise looks great. Don't go painting those boots black just yet, I'm almost positive that they were brown in both AOTC and ROTS.

Well the clothes were off the SS ROTS figure and they were really baggy on that as well. The boots that were on that figure were black so I figured they were black in the movie as well. Guess I will have to look that up then.

It's a really dark brown costume, in a lot of lighting it looks nearly black, I find in some promo images it almost looks like a maroon/purple shade.

Then this shot looks like all shades of brown.

The problem with a lot of modern movies is that color effects are used on the film so the final colors you see on screen aren't necessarily true to reality.

Now, if you feel like black best suits him from ROTS, then go for it, what matters is that your figure represents the movie how you think of it, not 100% film accurracy.

Your pictures and links don't work but I was just talking about the boots which look black in the pictures I found. There are a lot of high rez pictures out there as well.

Or at least close enough... just not as broad of shoulders. The 1.2 should be the same height, but a beefier.

Got mine today. Haven't taken any shots yet. He looks freaking awesome though. Detail and likeness are really really good.

I'm loving this representation of Anakin (of course I'm rewatching some of the best episodes of season one with my soon to be 4 year old so maybe that's helping my appreciation of this CW character as well).

He never says that about my coffee. (anyone? anyone? 80's tv ad... anyone?)

On a serious note...do the should pads really ride that high up? Seems so with a lot of the shots in here...

They shift easily, I pretty much had to re-futz the shoulder armor every time I reposed him for a short, with a little effort though you can get them down and looking nice.

U will. I have no doubts on it. No shots from me today though. Still cruddy outside and I want to make sure I get nice. Anakin and the doily have a date ya know.

The other day I was looking at my collection and it was cool seeing how far the line has come from the ROTS Anakin to the CW one. Still love my original figure, but the quality on the CW one is just so much better.

And they really did a better job on the overall skin-tone than what we saw even with Clonobi. I've got high hopes for the line continuing to deliver this level of quality
