I don't get mine until Momday either but hopefully some pics will surface over the weekend . I like too see the pick od the 501st Clone thats pictured on the back of the Anakin box that everyone is discussing but the pictures have disapeared.

While I really feel the "film" got the Clone Wars franchise off to a very rough start, the actual series is very strong and has far more of a classic Star Wars feel than the three prequel movies combined. Whenever I read rants about the CGI series, I really have to wonder how much of it you have actually SEEN.

I don't dispute any of that at all. In fact, I rather like the series itself enough. And with the exception of the episodes that focus on Anakin/Asohka (and certainly the Jar Jar stuff) it's good stuff. And a few of the episodes are among the best the EU has ever had to offer. I love that they've made the clones a focus, and the bounty hunter/Mandalorian stuff this season has been a blast.

Trust me, I'm one of those who can differentiate between that god-awful, piece of crap CW "movie" and the weekly series. It took me some time, but I gave it another chance once the show caught its footing, and I'm mostly pleased with it. And not just because I work for Time Warner and I'm in the same building as Cartoon Network's corporate HQ and see clones plastered on the office walls every day.

Hmm... must've been the pics you saw, because the one on display at SDCC looked very much Hayden and is almost surely the same sculpt. It looked like a decent figure then, and it does now. I just have no interest in the design itself. And I still think the CW animated movie is one of the worst things that happened to SW ever.

When I get home I'll repost mine then just so we can have some more pics in this thread. I agree it looks like what we saw several months ago which is fine by me cause it was awesome then so.... Now, If I could just get my WL to convert.

I'm really happy with how he turned out, still makes me wish we could see a Kenobi in a similar manner. Clonobi's great and I'm glad to have him, but I think the 3D series armor and costuming is more inetersting and having Obi-Wan better matching Anakin would be cool.

The body is great...doesn't even feel like a Pro to me. Costume is really well executed.

The only thing really cartoony about the figure is the paint job on the eyes. The portrait is fantastic. It tends to get washed out in pics but when you see shadows on it in real lighting it looks just like HC.

It's kinda like KOTCS Indy - the minimal approach with the paint (no reddish wash) looks great in hand but doesn't translate as well.

I hope so, if Clonobi didn't exist I'd feel it certain, but I feel like it's 50/50 at best with a CW Kenobi already made, but, TPM better come before any other Kenobis.

Yeah, I agree. I don't see them coming out with a Clone Wars Obi for at least a couple of years (the show'll run for longer than that). Especially when everybody's riding them about producing a TPM version.
