Received my Anakin today, and he arrived ok, but he is missing his chest armor....? Why do I have such luck?
Still shorter than the Buck Anakin, but much closer. This is the first pro body I actually love! Tight joints all around...FINALLY!!!

Sorry too hear that! Thats the second report of that happeing ! I have mine coming on Monday I hope its not the same situation with mine.

Thanks. Yeah, just called. Waiting for their email so I can send the attached pic! I was looking at it thinking, 'whats missing' til it hit me!
Heres a quick and dirty shot next to Han on the buck...not as tall as I would like yet
Hes a quarter head shorter.....they need to extend these bucks a bit more still....at least this pro is nice and tight, unlike the Lando that was floppy

Wow! I'm very surprised this new pro is still shorter than the buck! Can you take a pic of all three bodies side by side, the buck, the old pro and the new pro?

don't slam me but i think i like buck better than the pro. the pro is too small and clothes don't hang good on it. aside from articulation issues i never really had a problem with the buck. the only plus with the pro is how easy it is to swap hands.

i'm fine with the pro used on the new lines, but I don't like having it mixed in SW due to the size differences. oh well. i'm at least glad they used the buck for Gandalf.

Han is on the tall buck. But yea, Anakin needs to be a bit taller.

my CW anakin should be here shortly. hopefully he is flawless as i've been having some bad luck with SS figures missing/wrong parts lately.
Here is Anakin as straight as I could get him next to Bespin Luke on the short buck...both figures bodies have NOT been altered

Well hopefully the missing shoulder armor isn't something thats going to affect alot of peoples orders , mine arrives Monday and I'm a little worried.
I've had fairly good luck , I've had a few figures with issues that I was able to fix myself or received a figure with a damaged box that
SS replaced for me.
At least the Shoulder armor is something SS can just ship to you and is an easy fix. My only issues is that I'm keeping this one MISB and not buying a Reg too open since I have 2 of each Sandtrooper coming in the next several weeks.

i "discovered" how to convert a prometheus style head for a buck body if anyone is interested....
you know how sometimes if you incorrectly pull a head off a buck the neck post will break off and leave this screw in the neck?
well with a tad bit of work the prometheus neck fits on that screw!

I got mine in over lunch and have to say its a great figure! Paint work on the face is very good, not HT good... but better than general.
I stood Anakin back to back with the ROTS Kenobi and they matched up pretty well shoulder to shoulder, but Kenobi ended up being taller due to a much larger head. So, honestly I think this new Pro is the right height... but since the heads are more proportionate we're seeing a shorter figure.
Also stripped him down and while its not an attractive body (articulation is not as well hidden as a TT) the body is very sturdy and poses very well.
I'll post pics when I get home from work, but really very happy with this figure

Looks good. Really pleased by how it came out and glad he will look as great next to CW Obi-Wan as I had hoped. This will be one of the few none Clones I buy SW wise from now on and its gonna be a nice purchase.
