So glad I canceled the P2 maquette and put that $$ towards this one when I had the chance. This is one of my Fav pieces ever. Still hope to see the P2 1/4 someday though.

Turns out the Predator Maquette wasn't new and had damage to the base! [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35][emoji35][emoji35][emoji35]

On the hunt again for the Maquette.

Col is right azurepred. It's the Reg edition.
Yeah I asked for close up photos. When the photos came through I could clearly see

1. The Statue was grimey and dusty as hell, so was not brand new like he stated
2. The bottom right hand side of the base had a chip next the the Predator sign.

I ultimately want the exclusive anyways and am happy to wait until one pops up in the right condition.

What a nightmare it bloody was! The guy turned out to be an arrogant idiot. So glad I got my money back through PayPal. Phew [emoji33]

So still on the hunt for the exclusive.

Why do people lie about the condition, it drives me mad. If he'd been honest and said it had been displayed, and has a small chip, I'd probably have paid that asking price anyway and filled the chip in.

It's as infuriating as people who sell a palisades bust not example, and then put NOT Sideshow, GG, XMS, HCG etc in the description..... just shut up!!! arrrrgh...

Similar situation here just before Christmas.
Bought a Bruce Jaws Maquette in 'Mint' condition. Arrived with chips, scratches and grimy as hell.
The dirt I removed was ridiculous.
Luckily PayPal decided a return was in order. Cost me £13, return postage, to clean a statue for some idiot.

Get this, It's back up on eBay described as 'Mint Condition'
Wish I could warn people on there.

there are plenty of collectors here that have very cluttered collections. Clutter attracts dust
