This thread is INSANE. I have missed so many posts!!!

Tell me about it, every morning I wake up Ice about five pages to read wouldn't have it any other way

I will have the Hulk comiquette back tomorrow. My friend repainted the whole thing into gray version and the buzz hair cut is gone too. By the sound of it, it should be a home run remake. Stay tune, will post pictures as long as it get here.

Next week gonna be Rulk, using the same comiquette with the same body but different head.

Can't wait to see these!

The little polystone ____er is finally in my display.Pretty damn near perfect rendition of the Hulk.Size,color,sculpt,even the hair looks beautiful.Its too dark here for me to take good pics but i'm 100% satisfied with him ATM.I dont know wich one I prefer more between him and the PF.Both are nice and in my collection anyway.Only nitpick is that he has a tiny little black paint spot on the forehead he shouldnt have, but a painter friend of mine will arrange this pretty
easily.

Ohhh and olivetti's print is so sexxxxy..

How do they hire such people who cannot take extra care while making a production piece for a customer. We work hard to save money to invest in these expensive statues and such errors are just not acceptable.

Funny thing is: my last career is based on production line/assembly. I started at the bottom as a Material Handler(fancy word) and ended up as a Quality Control person. Its all based on who's careful, pays attention to detail, and have a care. Even supervisor level can make mistake. So they only fire/layoff the worst people. It takes time/effort/money to train staff member; you lose it all when you fire/layoff people. I can definitely tell you its not easy being a quality person. You work too hard and you get backlash from production people, even your own co-worker. You're too lenient and you might be seen as not doing your job and might get fired but production loves you.

I'd like to think Im a quality person...and yes...its very difficult. Especially when you're as high quality as me!

He was. He didn't want to stand anywhere near Hulk. When I was unpacking it and setting it up, he kept looking at it with an expression on his face like "what the h@ll is that?!?" Of course me chasing him around the house with it didn't help his fear at all.

I completely agree and human error is pretty normal. But If there is an error, you have other people inspecting the whole job before it passes the QC. And just to hurry the production process, you cannot stamp the faulty ones as QC PASSED. I am no one to comment on other companies QC procedures as I do not know their internal methods. But if I owned such a company which requires extra care to be taken and find out the minutest flaws, I would have hired two teams at two different levels of the QC department before it finally ended up in the packaging department. People might say that it is easier to be said than done but I feel it all depends on how you want to run your company and manage your staff and how passionate you are about doing all this. If you have what it takes then it is more easier to be done than being said.
