I saw what you dropped of, great score though. Must cost you an arm and leg.

Gray Hulk still needs some more touch up.

Wow, NICE. Definitely need a dark wash to add to the shadowing of his muscles. Did you get the hair sculpted some too?

Interesting look. Not sure I'm a fan of the hair.

Re: Olivetti Hulk Comiquette Up for Pre-Order, Links to buy in 1st post!.

Yes, interesting look. The hair isn't worth the trouble just to make it a little wilder look at the top. The side still have no hair. Maybe the hair should've reach closer to the eyebrow.
Definitely like to see how you pull the Red Hulk look from this one.

Re: Olivetti Hulk Comiquette Up for Pre-Order, Links to buy in 1st post!.

#368 arrived safe and sound. Perfect condition. I really like the size and sculpt on this piece. It looks awesome and i am very pleased with it. I really like the face sculpt. I have the PF and the paint apps are perfect on that one. This one is good, but not as good as the PF. Overall fantastic Hulk. This thing fits in my case with about 1/16th of an inch to spare. When my wife gets home with the SLR I will try to take some pictures.

Re: Olivetti Hulk Comiquette Up for Pre-Order, Links to buy in 1st post!.

There's three things I can reply to you:

1. Theoretically, the system is perfect. But we all know its impossible; there's only maximizing efficiency. Not just quality but there are alot of other business people involved who makes the decisions.

2. Pressure to pass. I would say that the production people rule the company. Quality people's paycheck came from production. Directly and Indirectly, I got layoff for doing my job; I stoped production because an idiot punched in the wrong batch code. If I let it go on, the whole batch would've been produced but rejected ultimately. And quality would be blame but I keep my job. Reject it, 1/3 into the production process, and production would be to blame but I might ended up getting fired. They'll find a way to make me look bad(revenge).

3. If you own a company and you hire two teams then you wouldn't be much of a business person. The company wouldn't be efficient. And you'll be micro-managing people/resources. Trust me, I've seen batch inspected and reinspected. Its all based on who's careful, pays attention to detail, and have a care.

I will try to sum up all three points that you have mentioned above. I agree to certain extent with what you are saying. It is a fast world and you need to be efficient and you cannot afford to fall back with respect to the pace of your progress. But this can be an acceptable thing with a company that has continuous mass production of the same products again and again. So in that case few faulty pieces or errors go as 'PASSED' through QC is acceptable and can be overlooked (still not completely acceptable for the companies reputation). But in the case of SSC they produce few hundreds to few thousands of pieces of one product. So such a company making QC errors is pretty much questionable.

Coming to the hiring of two different teams, I would say that if a company is into making quality products then quantity, it would be a precise business decision to make. Because at the end people buy your products because you are know for your quality and not because you are serving millions around the world by mass producing. So I would still stick with my decision of prioritizing quality by hiring extra (experienced) staff if I owned a company like SSC which produce exclusive TV and Movie memorabilia for the few collectible fanatics around the world.
