Anyone else watching it?

At first i was was kinda meh but once all the smoke stack were up and the rings came together and Bond with Her Majesty, it was so cool.

The Tribute to GOSH is fantastic, such a brilliant hospital, spend alot of my young life there

NBC (the network airing this) refused to show this live. We have to wait 'till 7:30.

I live in California, which means I'll be one of the last people in the entire world to watch this. -___-

When I first turned it on I thought I was back in the Shire...nice to see Hobbiton was hosting this years Olympics

So far it's been confusing but I've grown to enjoy it.

It's a massively impressive Feat & I admire the effort...some attractive women as well

Don't remember Mary Poppins defeating Voldermort in Harry Potter though

My 8 week old daughter is loving it...the colours, the music, the lights everything, she's cooing & aahing & just having a proper little chat...it's so cute

Loved the musical bit was mighty impressive & some AWESOME CHOOOONS!!!!!!!!!

I see what you guys meant by Shire. I'm really liking this so far. Danny Boyle did a pretty decent job. Not as good as China but still enjoyable.

Can't wait to watch the US edited version where they like to trim things to suit the US, and focus as much on the US team as much as possible, and cut to commercial when they feel like and talk over the announcers at the show.

It's annoying as hell. I wish we could just watch these things without the censorship. You'd think we could at least watch the opening ceremony without the commercials.
