I think this thing looks awful. The cowl, mouthpieces, PERS eyes, shoulder pads, undersuit, cape, boots, glossy finish, BW head....all suck. Period. Especially for their third attempt.

Canceling my PO for AEC.

I'll live with my DX02.

I think this thing looks awful. The cowl, mouthpieces, shoulder pads, undersuit, cape, boots, glossy finish, BW head....all suck. Period. Especially for their third attempt.

I still had a hard time understand why lots of ppl so angry about this batman, is it the accuracy thing? (which I am not into so I dont know) help me out here.

I do agree the eyes and month can do better, those mouth looks funny.

For me it's just the head, mouth and eyes.


I like the body and armor, that's well done. The head is just too goofy though. It literally looks like a highly stylized toy. There's absolutely nothing realistic about it, from the sculpt of the faces, the poor fit, the shape of the head and the googly eyes.

Yep its pretty much the mouth sculpts and eyes for me as well. In some pictures though, with the right lighting, the goofiness of the eyes goes away. However no amount of lighting seems to help with the mouth sculpts. All three of them, just look off.

The body and the armor are fantastic though. And the Bruce Wayne sculpt is fantastic as well. I know it has been discussed on the boards before but why Hot Toys can't just take the mouth area from that Wayne sculpt and use it on Batman, I dunno.

For me it is a realism thing.

HT have made collectors used to lifelike sculpts, not cartoons like this.

OMG can you speak to how the Dx12 compares to the Dx02 in terms of scale? If I have them posed side by side are they the same size or one larger than the other?

many amazing pics OMG this fig is great.you done real justice for the fig .yes there are some issues, but not a bad figure overall. i not pick up mines yet already got my call from HTs. tmr cant wait

The Batman head can be better for sure, lucky he looks angry enough for me. May be thats why I always keep his head way down.

Just took out my "finally stopped oil leak 02" deep from my display my master, and wtf, you DONT put them side by side, it looks like a hasbro 3.75" compare to 12 ...

And surprisingly they are about the same height and 12 is not on a slim body.

I dont think is glued on more like hot pressed on, after 7 days of my brute abuse, it still looks new and not easy to catch dust, is really well and solid build.

With a good lighting and well pose, he kick @ss My Batman is now standing next to my Bruce Wayne with Kato suit! WTF wuhoho
