Am I the ONLY one who hates Hot toys new tendency towards single piece head/neck combo's lately?

Not a deal-breaker by any means, I just prefer them to be separate for a greater degree of posability, and more personality in the poses.

Great pics OMG, as usual.

But, ugh, this thing looks hideous to me. I just can't put my finger on it. He looks even more "derpish" than the DX 02. It's like his head is all crooked and the mouth pieces are all weird looking. He looks like a highly stylized, goofy, anime toy or something. The eyes don't help either.

The body and suit look fantastic. The Bruce Wayne head is a little better than the Toy Fairs Begins version, but the rest? Meh.


What an odd looking Batman figure. Is it crazy that I sort of prefer the DX 02 and TDK V1 MMS 71? They weren't accurate per se, but man, they didn't look this goofy.

That teeth sculpt, that odd "neutral" mouth, the head, it's just so ****ed up.

Reading this I KNOW that you are crazy. DX02 better? SERIOUSLY? HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

Can't even pose that figure. The cape is ****. The neck is about a mm thinner than the DX12's. The rubber leaks.

Man... If this DX12 figure had been released three years ago you would be running in the streets screaming its praise. What spoiled you so much? No HOT TOYS 1/6 figure is anywhere NEAR perfect. Seriously? Which one are basing this off of? 89 batman is the closest thing and there are inconsistencies with it. Get over it.

I can't get over all the hate for this figure, these photos only make me more glad that I preordered him right away, I think the Wayne headsculpt is spot on and the suit in the best looking batsuit HT has done to this point, not to mention all the great things he will be coming with, uncluding that kick ass stand

idk maybe its just me and I'm biased but I love this figure and can't wait to get him, worth every penny

I am not gonna be original. The suit is great (even if its a bit on the fat side), but the cowl is just derpy.

I guess we're gonna have to frankenstein a medix again.

yes, it's an amazing figure, love all the features and the work HT has put on the new armor. those pers are my only let down, but, ITS A FIGURE, and for me is perfect, and worths every penny
also love the texture on the suit/armor, and the paint on the eyes is great, really looks like some make up guy, but not so god as the keaton batman.
the best face plate is the angry one, love how he looks.
can't wait to pose him with the tumbler or batpod

Same "wipe your ass after you take a ****" cape with the DX12, no guarantees the parts glued on the DX12 will stay on after prolonged posing, leaky abs wasn't a issue for everyone because I have a DX2 from an initial batch and my abs have been leak free since.

Yes if this was released three years ago, it would have been something. But its three years later and Hot Toys hasn't managed to really deliver something that outshines the DX2 in every aspect. The only thing I see superior on the DX12 hands down is the body/armor and even that's questionable for some.
