I have absolutely no idea. Why? Do you mean only those categories would benefit from a sub-section?

I mean to imply that needing to separate HT from SSC would be irrelevant in most sections because SSC doesn't make product for them anymore anyway.

I still argue it's sifting through all the bazillion Hot Toys (product, wishlist, QC, custom) threads trying to find other products that makes it confusing. Give HT their own subforum, and a sub-subforum for HT customs, and you'll clean this place up overnight.

Personally, I enjoy this section (Whedonville) because Buffy & Angel is the ONLY reason I come here. Sideshow itself doesn't bring me here, Sideshow producing Buffy/Angel products brings me here.

I agree. Hot Toys needs a subforum PLEASE!!! I'm a hardcore Sideshow fan and I have to go through all this HT clutter to find anything Sideshow related and the search function is just bad. Don't get me wrong even though I don't collect Hot Toys they do make great stuff and I got nothing against them or the collectors; but the HT threads are WAY too numerous and they have taken over.

I did a count of the first page in both the Marvel and DC sections the other day and more than half of the threads listed were Hot Toys based. And while I can appreciate the fact that Sideshow is a distributor of Hot Toys, I find it a bit frustrating (to say the least) trying to sort through them.

I polled it twice with landslide results in favor of giving HT their own forum. It's been looked into, in depth, and denied without prejudice.

The board is split by licences not manufacturers. Therefore you won't get a HT specific forum. Personally I wouldn't mind a rejig to sort the board firstly by Collectable Type (1/4 scale, 1/6 scale, statues, busts, other) and then by licence. As a 1/6th only collector i couldn't care about statues, props, busts etc.

it would be quite simple to keep the same format, but add a sub forum in Marvel and DC for Hot Toys. For instance, Custom Creations has sub forums.
