It's funny, Sideshow has made a commitment (at least for now) to answer all the "Ask Sideshow" questions they get. They must have said this at least 4 times now.

Thank you Darklord Dave, this is exactly the reason why this topic was rehashed. Sideshow answering this question multiple times instead of choosing to answer another question is inane, but not SS's fault.

Hopefully, this question, and this particular thread and it's ilk, will fade into obscurity...

Funny. But I've been content with this line being dead for quite some time now. However, I will give this line full credit for sparking my interest in collecting high quality 1/6 scale figures. Unless another company picks up where Sideshow left off (unlikely), there won't any more LOTR 12" figures being manufactured.

If that's the case, why not have them up for sale on their site, or available for gift card purchases? Some of us could use them for customs.
