I was one of the first i think to notice it. Mine was showing deterioration about 2 months after i got it. Unfortunately, i'm outside of the return time frame

do you ever plan on reviewing the enterbay Robocop? (as you are a big robo fan)
Thanks!

Honestly, i doubt i'll ever get it. First off, i'm not a huge fan of 1/4th scale figures. 1/6th scale is about my limit. Second, i feel it's wayy over priced. For that price, i think it's too flawed of a piece to get a place in my collection. It's got cool features and such but putting all that stuff into the figure really just seems an over extravagance. I really don't feel it makes the figure worth it. He comes with a great amount of accessories, so i can understand that contributing to the cost as well...but the problem is, the accessories are mostly all from the Robocop 3 movie. Which i watched 5 minutes of when it came out and i turned it off LOL...it's just a terrible movie.

Yours is the worst case of deterioration on the new ED that I've seen. It's a disgrace frankly and Hot Toys just brushed it under the carpet. I'm glad you included it in this review.

My eyes hurt. I need sunglasses to watch your review. To bright. Besides that great job as always and thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for the vid, Optibotimus. The paint is very, very bright. It should've been a pearlescent gray. Sigh.

I'm sure it looks better in hand, but it's still too bright, by at least a couple of shades, same as EB's.
ebs isn't nearly as shiny as the ht version IMO
Eb looks more gray while the ht version looks more silver

:goodpost::exactly: Don't tell fran or the other EB ROBOCOP fans though.

Just finished watching the vid, once again, thanks for posting. Little nitpicks aside - the paint and holster design - I am really looking forward to this set.

For some robocop fans, scale and price are not an issue
Meanwhile, I'm dropping another $400 on a hot toys piece with rubber on it

yeah if its anything like ED 209 we all may be in trouble and I wonder if the mechanics will last on both collectables considering both companies have QC issues.
