The show has been okay. Nothing I'm addicted to, but I still watch. I think I'm on episode 4. It's a show I can pause half way through and come back to later. It reminds me a bit of Ringer, but not 100%

Only on episode 4? Oh, well... it's just getting started then. :)

Yep. I loved it. I hope they can keep this pace up for future seasons. That's my only real worry. The first season was so well done, doling out revelations while keeping the pace strong with no filler.

She totally deserves it. To play that many different personalities, and make each one feel completely believable is quite an achievement.

When I read the title to this thread, the first thing I thought of was that it would be a good name for a Harry Potter spin-off about an unknown child of Serius Black.:monkey3

Very pumped for its return. Tons of people have discovered it, apparently, through On Demand and the like. Hoping it posts good ratings for BBCA when it comes back.

Yeah, the premiere was fantastic. Picked right up where we left off, but already some new stuff thrown into the mix.

Starting right where we left off, Sarah is on the run, and gets into more trouble almost immediately! I liked the confrontation in the diner and how you're kept guessing who works for who for most of it. Although, I did kind of figure that Rachel didn't have Mrs. S. and Kira at the start. I actually thought maybe Mrs. S. took her to keep her safe, but that would have been too tidy, I suppose.

I was really surprised to see Helena alive! It seems like the writers decided they couldn't let her go yet, as I think her death was rather definitively portrayed last season. I guess I don't mind too much, as I liked Helena a lot. Still, between her and Kira... you don't want to play with that too much, or it makes things seem less dangerous.

Allison was fun to see in the musical and I enjoyed her scene with Ramone, too. I think Ramone and Felix should hook up! :) There was a little sexual tension there. I'm not quite sure what to make of Delphine or Paul. Delphine SEEMS to still be working for Leeky. This makes Cosima seem a bit dumb, to be honest. Hopefully if she finds out this time about Delphine she really lets her have it. Or, maybe there's a twist in the wings and Delphine is doing what she can for Cosima even against her wishes? As for Paul, I don't understand where he stands, telling Sarah to back down. Was he trying to protect Sarah by doing that?

I'm glad there's a little more fall-out to what happened to Ainsley coming up. I did want to see it weight a bit more on Allison, but I'm glad it wasn't in the first episode.

Oh, and there's a (spoilerific) interview with the OB writers:

I thought this bit was funny, because I thought the same thing as the EW writers!

MANSON: It didn’t take me that long to get on board. And it’s interesting because we were trying to get Grease. That’s what we talked about from the beginning — she was going to be in Grease. But it proved very difficult to get the rights and very expensive, so the musical Blood Ties is a little local Toronto musical that was in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year, and had been mounted by friends of our assistant, Mackenize. So we took a look at the script and took a look at some of the songs on YouTube and it was eerily paralleling Alison’s predicament.
FAWCETT: And possibly foreshadowing what was to come.
EW: Because I had never heard of it, I assumed you guys wrote some wacky songs, but you actually used existing stuff.
FAWCETT: No, that’s an existing musical and what’s interesting, too, is that in the episode, that is the cast of Blood Ties. Other than Sarah Stubbs and obviously Tatiana, that is the cast of Blood Ties – the pianist in the show and the blonde girl on stage, those are the creators of the musical, and the two men in the cast are from the show. So we were basically working with their cast and the musical’s creators. Isn’t that cool? And they helped choreograph all the dance moves and stuff like that. So we just worked with them and said, “Hey, let’s stage this.” And I hung out while she choreographed, and that’s how we created the musical numbers.
MANSON: I was just so thankful because it was down to the wire what musical we were gonna find and John kept saying to me, “just write one!”
[laughs]

Anybody keeping up with this? I'm a few episodes behind as I was trying to wait for the partner to watch. Not having to worry about that now. LOL. So I'm trying to catch up quick. Watching episode 3 now.

I have to say... Mrs. S. kicks ass.

I was surprised to see Allison learn about Donnie so quickly!

Yup. She does ... :lol

And kinda sad at the same time, she killed an innocent. She has to live with that.
