I don't like it because of drastic changes from the first. I'm not against the new look of mechs or the faster animation since it makes them feel more Japanese... But some shots from trailers look really ***kin' awful and style-less. Plus almost completely new cast and that damn stupid song.

Well I juuussstt watched the first one for the first time and it seemed similar in tone to me. The first was kind of a trash movie anyway , just a fun popcorn flick. Better for Guillermo to be working on something a little more important anyway. And what in the world is wrong with the song ? It's catchy as hell and sounds tailor made for an over the top action movie trailer. Pretty sure it was used in Django

I initially thought this was a straight to Blu-Ray release. Looks like the worst of the Bay Transformers but starring John Boyega - what a combo.

those scenes are shown out of context... everyone is so used to the night rainy fights of the first one that the sunshine fights look shocking.

But I have faith that in the context of the movie, the scenes will look great

I hope you are right but nothing in the trailer gives me hope at all. There are some extended scenes of the film on line also and it just looks awful IMO.

I don;t care if its day or night.. But the focus seems to be more on little kids (in the movie) and robots. Everything about it looks like the worst the Transformers have to offer.. But I will be very happy to be wrong.

btw I was not a huge fan of the original either. That film should have been prime for repeat viewing but I have only watched once in theaters and once on Blu ray.

After seein' the first ever Godzilla anime... I just don't wanna be mad at these dumb US movies anymore.
At least even if they're bad I can have good time watchin' them for what they are.

You know even though it’s lacking all effects of gravity it’s really hard to find something wrong with that clip.

I guess this is more like Jet Jaguar and Ultraman

I loved how the one mech caused the other one to trip that was pretty cool.

That’s how the Power Rangers movie should’ve been like.

Just have to get used to them doing round house kicks inside lol
