I was banging my head against the wall all last evening. It was more productive than trying to log onto www.sideshowtoy.com.

I wasn't venting at Mesa alone. I was at anyone who was trying to rub it in my face or anyones face that missed this. At least Nash came on here and was like I got my orders in and let it be. The others had multiple posts rubbing others nose in it. Then when people come back and tell them to shove it they do the "oh I was joking". Whatever.

I don't give a damn you got one and I didn't. I'm ticked I missed it but thats not anyone's fault but Sideshow for putting something like this in the NL. Also cause they couldn't keep the site from crashing when they did put something like this in the NL. I'm not trying to cry page after page but I really am genuinely disappointed in missing this item.

I decided to let the price determine whether I order this or not and, wow, $280 is a bit high, IMO. It's a great-looking piece, but for as simple of a PF it is, this thing shouldn't have been more than say $220. I'm just wondering what the ES of the regular is going to be and how long those will sit, since most everyone seemed to have their heart set on the exclusive.

lets face it though... people would be complaining even if SS put it up for ppo.

Of course they would but I think it would be less. The 100 ES was just totally wrong to do on SS part and if they'd have done 300-500 I think they could have had a limited item doing the same effect.

I don't so much care about the value either. However, the hand is pretty damn cool. If mine doesn't convert I may look to have someone see if they can makes something original out of it. Like him holding a whole head!

That's a very good point. This is the same price as the Indiana Jones PF. Considering the wardrobe on Indy vs P0 and the fact that there is no license fee for "The Dead" should the price be the same? I wouldn't think so.

Let alone they release a product that they knew would kill their servers, yet they post it after hours so no one was even there to take a phone order. Complete garbage pre-order.

Also, Josh I'm with you. I've gotten plenty of items pre-ordered that had an ES of 100 and lower. I did not act like a complete assface because of it. Was I happy sure. Did I act like the jerk offs from last night because of "adrenaline" no.... their day will come though...

There seemed to be a lot of stuff up for order last night that caused their servers to fry. Between this PF, the HT Predator and a bunch of long sold out 1/6 figures, there were just way to many people placing orders.

Absolutely, that seems to make sense to most people.

Come on Sideshow, just announce that the 100 ES was an error with the website and it actually should have been 300 and convert our waitlists.

I agree upping the ES because of the site crashing at the very least is the right thing to do.
