I appreciated that. I used it to finally get through one last time to make an attempt. I've got the regular coming so at least I'll have one for sure but I'm on hunt again it seems.

I really tried last night to get him one. On FireFox I got to the ordering page and it locked up with Google Chrome I got him logged in and the item in cart but the page kept crashing on place order and then when it finally went through it was sold out.

Well, even though the edition size isn't that important to me, and I fully expected it to be 300, the one thing I have always scolded Sideshow for is upping an edition size after a product is sold out. To me, that is one of the worst things a company can do, because in a way, it is like a type of false advertising; and to some people, the edition size is very important and is one of the things they look at when ordering a product. It is done and over and Sideshow should just let it remain as is...

Didn't this happen a couple of times on cluster^^^^s already? I think the Hulk Grey PF had this done right? As one of the lucky who got in their order last night, I would be completely fine if SS did this. Hell raise the ES to 1000 for the exclusive I don't give a ^^^^, I just want the statue holding the hand.

But I do remember Lonnie complaining when he missed out on the Grey Hulk Vs Spidey came along. Asking them to up the size. Guess things are different when you actually score a limited item.

I agree, but in this case it was an error on the website, not an increase in edition size.

It's just like the 5 second rule, if you drop a piece of food on the ground and pick it up within 5 seconds, you're ok to eat it. In this case if you screw up an edition size, you're ok to up it within 24 hours.

To be perfectly honest, I don't feel all that bad for the people who missed out. These things are limited edition collectibles and not eyeryone should get one. Everyone had the same opportunity to order one, but unfortunately some missed out.
In some opinions, we may have taken things too far with what we considered jokes, but if you're going to lose sleep over something like this then maybe it's time for a new hobby. In the grand scheme of things, how important is it?

That being said, I think I'll go and list mine on ebay for $2000.

It had been coming out on Friday for a long time, and had just come out on Thursday night for a week or two before the Grey Hulk vs Spidey, but Sideshow never stated they had officially changed the newsletter time. That was what I complained about because that was what caused me to miss out. And I never asked for the edition size to be upped... ever! Find the post and back up your statement... you won't be able to.

Not the same thing... both the Doom PF Ex and Grey Hulk PF had their edition sizes raised because of over selling them by taking orders by hand on the floor at SDCC in addition to web sales and not calculating total number sold correctly.
