Yeah, does look good Shai. I'd like to see the ES of a piece be what's stated like Robo said. I think thats the point of ES at least how I think of them. If they did a semi second run of regulars with a whole new ES and a bit different like the Babbysitter thats a bit different. Either way I'm going to have to sit this one out and get PZ down the road.

It's really not that weird or unexplained... Sideshow has done International versions in the past of things like the Spider-man and Scarface 1:1 busts and the The Dead Babysitter 1/6th figure, and they are never announced on Sideshow's site, only sold through International retailers. We always have to find out about them on our own. Usually, the International edition has some difference to it, so it will be interesting to see if there is any difference to this one...

Ok, I think I spot the difference... in Sideshow's pictures, the band on the left wrist appears to be brown, and on the International Edition it is white... since his watch is on the right wrist, maybe this is one of those "Collect for Life" wrist bands Sideshow gave away a few years ago? :lol

Looks to me like the factory that Sideshow gets their pieces from lacks any integrity and is producing these on the side.

I'm judging that from the speed this "edition" has come out, closeness to accuracy, the imaginative inclusion of an international edition following the 12" line. It all reeks of insider bootlegs.

Please reread the thread... all of this, including the International Edition have been explained several times... this is legit.

Well it looks like IF this is a legit International version that the difference is it has a white "Collect for Life" band on its left hand...according the SS site and the calendar there isn't supposed to be a band on the left hand. It seems insignificant but plausable. The International Spider-Man 1:1 had silver eyes instead of stock white.

My main shock is that IF this is an actual licensed piece is that we never heard about it until shipping. Not from SSC themselves because we had to find out about Blonde Babysitter ourselves first and then ask questions but that was way before shipping and a lot of us Pre-Ordered right away from foriegn e-tailers but from any foriegn collectors or even dealers who had to have ordered this piece a while back. Not to mention that in the case of Blondie (the only IE I own) she shipped after the standard....I'm surprised this beat the mark.

When SS sets en edition size they need to stick with it

This doesn't leave a good taste in my mouth. Just because you can include "fine print" doesn't mean you should.

I'm sorry but taking the statue and adding just an arm band....is not good enough!

This doesn't really change enough. They need to at least change something to the sculpt.

Think about this one...If, after receiving my PZ, I went to my buddy's house in China and we took a pic of mine and his together. They would look like the same damn figure, oh but wait, his would have an armband!

are we serious about the white armband being the difference? I thought Lonnie was kidding.

It could be the flash washing out color or the final paint app is different than the proto, but both have an armband....

Yep, you are right. Its been there all along. Its hard to see in some pics, but it is definatley there in more than just that pic.

So now the question is WHAT is the international exclusive difference?

I pointed out the armband way back when this first showed up... you guys need to read the thread better! :rotfl

For once I will say this:

L.Cummins = Not a Caca

This stupid PF has had more controversy surrounding it than any other piece in Sideshow history :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl
Seriously, so glad I had 'Zero' interest in this! :lol

Yeah Lonnie, get 'em!! :rock

Well I think the in hand pics look great! I think the production paint job isn't too shabby at all :) The only thing that bugged me, which may just be a result of the flash/lighting, is that the blue eye retina isn't AS blue as the prototype. That's one detail I LOVED about the PF. The light blue eyes made it SUPER creepy!!!! :rock

C'mon guys, this is a great statue no matter what
the edition size is. If you only want it because it's
limited (or simply love it more because very few people
have the opportunity to own it)...well, that's kinda sad.
No, what's sad is people who think they have some kind of right to pass judgment on other collectors, as if their motivations are somehow "superior". That's sad.

I do agree that if a company says there are "X" amount
of whatever and release MORE than that number, that
is a case of false advertising, but still...
Yes, it is. That is what I was saying before. The ES is part of the advertised product. We now find that the ES has been misrepresented. Why should I reward that kind of behavior from a company?

did you buy it because you like it and want one or buy it
just because of the edition number?
Rather than jumping to stupid conclusions, maybe you should just try respecting the fact that different people collect for different reasons, and leave it at that.

i think it looks good. tempted to cancel my regular and just stay on the exclusive waitlist...not because of the international version or anything but i'm kind of only wanting the exclusive or nothing. the hand...imo...makes the piece. any money i spend on the regular could just go towards the exclusive if i have to go the ebay route.

I'd like to say thanks to A XUN for posting the pics and welcome to the board!

And thanks to bentoy for contributing to this thread - it's always great to have the participation of the dealers on the forum.

I wonder if Sideshow will import a small lot of them like they've done with all the others. That'd be the one I'd be going for if I had a choice between "regulars".
