As Lonnie has pointed out - this is NOT a bootleg, but a legitimate international edition as has been done before.

Yep, you are right. Its been there all along. Its hard to see in some pics, but it is definatley there in more than just that pic.
So now the question is WHAT is the international exclusive difference?
I feel bad for the people who ordered this with the expectation of a low ES. Who knows...maybe they'll release a Gold Edition, and then a Platinum Edition, etc. I was planning to pay premium for this piece, but I just changed my mind since it is not rare and unique now

That is the bonus to this story, if there is one. To look at it another way, exclusives just became that much more rare.

I assume you're talking about people who have ordered the regular, since the exclusive (so far) appears to be unaffected.
As for me, I'm thinking about it. I realize it is something of a hollow gesture, since I have no doubt that there are enough people on the wait list that Sideshow won't even be aware that anything has happened, but this is just one too many elements of this whole fiasco that has left a decidedly bitter taste with me.
The dismissive comment that this has been done before - which comes as news to me, since the only "international versions" I have ever been aware of before have been international variants - is a feeble excuse. A stated ES should be the complete ES, not just for one locale or another, but for the entire run of a given piece. Otherwise, what is the point of even stating an ES in the first place?

C'mon guys, this is a great statue no matter what
the edition size is. If you only want it because it's
limited (or simply love it more because very few people
have the opportunity to own it)...well, that's kinda sad.
I do agree that if a company says there are "X" amount
of whatever and release MORE than that number, that
is a case of false advertising, but still...
did you buy it because you like it and want one or buy it
just because of the edition number?
The new guy, A XUN, pops on and shows us "in hand" photos
of the PF Patient Zero (which I've been looking forward to
seeing since it was announced) and everyone practically
flamed him.
Besides, even if it WERE a bootleg, I don't know about
you, but I'd take one. It looks great!!!
I really wanted this statue and had to cancel mine last month.
The only bit on consolation I had in doing so, was that maybe
it'd go to a cool "Freak" from this forum.
As I read the last few pages, I could almost hear Hudson
from Aliens responding along with you about the International
Edition, "Well, that's great, that's just f^^^kin' great, man!

Oh yeah, I'm guessing the wristband is supposed to
be a medical name tag, which would make sense if
he is indeed a patient.

You were planning on paying "premium" for PZ? Is that why you just offered $300 for the EX a few pages back?
Last time I checked, an ES of 100 is ridiculously rare. An overall edition size of 425 total pieces is rare as well. If anything you are just bitter you can't find one at retail price and feel the need to cry to the masses about it.
By the way, I think the in-hands pics looks extremely good.I dont see how some people could be disappointed in this statue's appearance...Anyone expecting a paint job like the one they gave the proto had unrealistic expectation.I turned my back on this statue once I missed the exclusive,but still,this is one awesome PF.Wouldnt mind having one now.
